The sunshade can be operated with the ignition switch or the operation mode in ON.
A - Pull the switch in the arrow direction to
open the sunshade. Pulling the switch all
the way automatically opens the sunshade
completely.
B - Push the switch in the arrow direction to close the sunshade. Pulling the switch all the way
automatically closes the sunshade completely.
C - Push the switch to stop the moving sunshade. If an object obstructs the sunshade from
closing the safety mechanism will cause the sunshade to re-open automatically. The
opened sunshade will become operational again after a few seconds.
The sunshade illumination turns on with the ignition switch or when the operation mode is in ON or ACC.
D - Push the switch to change brightness of the sunshade illumination. The brightness switches in sequence from
high → middle → low → off → high.

B - Push to select outside air (Indicator light off) or recirculated air
(Indicator light on)
C - Turn to select the blower speed. To the right increases blower speed. To
the left decreases blower speed. Turned all the way to the left turns the
blower off. Note: OFF is located above AUTO.
D - Push for air conditioning ON/OFF (Indicator light on/Indicator light off).
E - Turn to select the air flow and direction mode (AUTO position is only auto type air conditioning).
F - Push to defog the rear window (Indicator light on). Rear window
defogger light automatically turns off after 20 minutes.
To defog front windshield
1. Set the Mode Dial E to defrost
position.
2. Set the blower speed C to the maximum position.
3. Set the temperature A to highest position.

A - CANCEL: To deactivate the cruise control
B - ACC RES: To increase the set speed or resume previously
set cruise control operation.
C - COAST SET: To set the desired speed and to reduce
the set speed
D - ON/OFF: To turn ON/OFF cruise control
To set a cruising speed
1. Press D and the CRUISE
indicator light in the meter
cluster will be turned on.
2. Accelerate or decelerate to your desired speed (above
25 mph). Press C and remove your foot from the
accelerator pedal.
To accelerate or decelerate speed
Press B to increase set cruising speed.
Press C to decrease set cruising speed.
To cancel the cruising speed
Press A or press brake pedal, or press D .

snow-covered roads or sand.

When the ECO indicator light is on,
your current driving style supports
good fuel economy. ECO light will
only work in a normal mode. It will
not illuminate in either Sport Mode
or with Cruise Control on.

7AUDIO SYSTEM
1. Press the LOAD button E briefly.
2. The autochanger will show WAIT on the display and start making
itself ready for disc loading.
3. When the autochanger is ready for disc loading, the LOAD
indicator will illuminate and the display will show
LOAD DISC No. (1-6).
4. When a disc is inserted into the CD slot, the disc will begin to
play.

your audio system.

1. Park your vehicle in a safe place and turn the ignition to the
lock position.
2. Connect the cable
(cable purchased separately) to the USB
memory device
or the Dock connector to the iPod® .

in the glove compartment. Connect the

4. Turn the ignition switch to the “ACC” position. Press A to turn
on the audio system.
5. Press the CD button B several times to switch to the USB
mode. The input mode changes as follows:

6. Depending on your USB device, it may take longer for
playback to start. The number of songs in the device will
determine the length of time it takes to load. Typical
times are from 1 minute to 8 minutes.
7. Once the device is selected, playback starts.
NOTE: You can select desired tracks from
the “Playlist”, “Artists”, “Album”
or “Songs” menus stored in your
iPod® or desired folder in your USB
memory device. Turn the FOLDER
knob C to the desired location then
press it in to select your folder.

Making a call by using the telephone number:
1. Press A button and Say “Dial.”
2. The voice guide says “Number please.”
3. Say the telephone number “XXX•••••••.”

Making a call using a phonebook:
1. Press A button and Say “Call.”
2. After the voice guide says “Name please.”
Say the name you want to call “XXX•••••••.”
3. If there is only 1 match, the voice guide says “Calling
number.
Receiving calls:
1. If an incoming phone call is received while the ignition
switch is in the “ACC” or “ON” position, with the audio
system OFF, the audio system automatically turns ON.
2. Press B button.
Hanging up a call:
1. Press C button.
To import a devices phonebook:
1. Press A button and Say “Phonebook.”
2. The voice guide will say “Select one of the following: new
entry, edit number, edit name, list names, delete, erase all,
or import contact.” Say “Import contact.”
3. The voice guide will say “Would you like to import a single
entry or all contact?” Say “All contacts.”
4. The voice guide will say “Importing the contact list
from the mobile phonebook. This may take several
minutes to complete. Would you like to continue?”
Answer “Yes.”
5. When the import is complete, the voice guide
will say “Import complete.”

say “Help”. This will walk you through some tips and help set-up your
recognition profile.

To pair a Bluetooth® enabled device:
1.
Park your vehicle in a safe location. Pairing can not be done while
vehicle is moving.
2. Press A button and Say “Setup.”
3. Say “Pairing Options.”
4. The voice guide says: “Select one of the following: pair, edit, delete, or list.”
5. Say “Pair.”
6. The voice guide says “Please say a 4-digit pairing code.”
7. Say a 4-digit number “XXXX.”
8. When the confirmation function is on, the system will confirm
whether the number said is acceptable. Answer “Yes.”
9. The voice guide says “Start pairing procedure on the device. See the device manual for instructions.” Enter in the Bluetooth® device
the 4-digit number you have registered in step 8.
