driver's andfront-passenger seatbelttothe
upper bodyofthe occupants.
The belt strap istight ened slightly when:
R you engage thebelt tongue inthe belt
buckle andyouthen turntheSmart Keyto
position 2in the ignition lock.
R the Smart Keyisin position 2in the ignition
lock andyouthen engage thebelt tongue
in the buckle.
The seat- beltadjustm entwill apply a
retr action forceif any slack isdetec ted
between theoccupant andtheseat belt. Do
not hold ontothe seat belttight lywhile itis
adjustin g.You canswitch theseat- belt
