5-2.Steps to take in an emergency
If a warning light turns on or a warning buzzer sounds...
Calmly perform the following actions if any of the warning lights comes on or
flashes. If a light comes on or flashes, but then goes off, this does not necessar-
ily indicate a malfunction in the system. However, if this continues to occur,
have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
Stop the vehicle immediately. Continuing to drive the vehicle may be dangerous.
The following warning indicates a possible problem in the brake system.
Immediately stop the vehi cle in a safe place and contact your Lexus
dealer.

If multiple warning messages
occur, they will be shown alter-
nately.
“Warning”
Can be selected when a message
is shown while in the menu display.
Select “Warning” with the control
pad and press right to display the
warning message list.
Warning message list
Lists up to four currently occurring
warning messages.
If five or more warning messages
have occurred, press up or down
on the control pad to scroll through
them.
Once the warning is resolved, the
corresponding message will disap-
pear.
If any of the warning lights turns on again after performing the following
actions, contact your Lexus dealer.
