To install a LATCH-compatible child
seat in either outer second row seat:Move the seat belt buckle or
tongue away f rom the lower
anchors.
Make sure there are no objects
near the anchors that could
prevent a secure connection
between the child seat and the
anchors.
Your vehicle is equipped with
LATCH (Lower Anchors and
Tethers f or CHildren) at each of the
second row seats and the passenger

When not using the LATCH system,
all child seats must be secured to the
vehicle with the lap part of a lap/
shoulder belt.With the child seat in the desired
seating position, route the belt
through the child seat according
to the seat maker

The controls f or the power
adjustable front seats are on the
outside edge of each seat bottom.
You can adjust the seats with the
ignition switch in any position. Make
all seat adjustments bef ore you start
driving.
The passenger seat has the same
adjustments as the driver

Make all seat adjustments bef ore
you start driving.
Moves the seat forward
and backward. Moves the whole seat up
and f orward, or down
and backward. The front
of the seat also tilts up or
down at the same time.
Moves the f ront of the
seat up or down.
Raises or lowers the seat. Adjusts the seat-back
angle f orward or
backward.
Increases or decreases
the lumbar support.

To remove a head restraint f or
cleaning or repair, pull it up as f ar as
it will go. Push the release button,
then pull the restraint out of the seat-
back.
To lower the restraint, push short
side of the cap and pry up on long
side of the cap. Push the release
buttons sideways, and push the
restraint down. Push short side of the cap and pry up
on long side of the cap. Push the
release buttons, then pull the
restraint out of the seat-back.

For a head restraint system to work
properly:Do not hang any items on the head
restraints, or f rom the restraint
legs.
Do not place any object between
an occupant and the seat-back.
Install each restraint in its proper
location.
Only use genuine Honda
replacement head restraints. To adjust the second row seats f orward and backward, pull up on the
bar under the f ront edge of the seat
cushion. Move the seat to the
desired position and release the bar.
Trytomovetheseattomakesureit
is locked in position. To change the seat-back angle of the
seats in the second row, pull up on
the handle on the outside of the seat-
back, and push the seat-back.

Use the latch plate to release the
seat belt from the detachable
anchor (see page ).
Lower the head restraints to their
lowest positions.To f old the third row seat,
the second row seat-back must be
f olded down or in the f ull up right
position.
Unlock the seat-back by pulling
the handle. Push the seat-back
forward.
Make sure the outer shoulder belts
are positioned in each holding slot on
the side panel whenever the third
seat is f olded. Reverse this procedure to return the
seat to the upright position. Make
sure the seat is locked securely
bef ore driving. Reconnect the seat
belts to the detachable anchors.
Make sure all items in the cargo area
are secured. Loose items can f ly
f orward and cause injury if you have
to brake hard (See
on page ).
