Trip Odometer — shows the accumulated trip distance.
Trip Timer — shows the elapsed trip time. This timer will stop when
the vehicle is turned off and will restart when the vehicle is restarted.
Distance to E — shows the approximate distance the vehicle can travel
before running out of fuel.
Inst Fuel Econ — shows instantaneous fuel usage.
Average Fuel — shows the average distance traveled per unit of fuel
used for a given trip.
Fuel Used — shows the amount of fuel used for a given trip.
Press and hold OK to reset the current trip, distance time, average MPG,
and fuel used.

AWD Gauge. Displays power distribution between the front and rear
wheels. More power to either front or rear wheels will be displayed by
more area filled in. Refer toAll-Wheel Drive (AWD) systemin the

MyKeyInformation (number of MyKeys and admin keys programmed)
Coolant Temperature. The indicator will change colors indicating: blue
for cool, gray for normal and red for hot. If the engine coolant
temperature exceeds the normal range, stop the vehicle as soon as
safely possible, switch off the engine and let the engine cool.

You will hear an audio mute when there is a satellite radio signal
interference. Your display may showAcquiring...to indicate the
interference.
Satellite radio electronic serial number (ESN):You will need your
ESN to activate, modify or track your satellite radio account. The ESN is
found on the System Information Screen (SR ESN:XXXXXXXXXXXX).
To access your ESN, press MENU > SIRIUS >Show ESN or tune to
channel 0.

MyTemp:Touch and hold to save the desired temperature for MyTemp.
To access this setting again, simply touch the indicator.
The MyTemp feature can be used to store and recall a preset driver’s
temperature. This feature is provided so this temperature can be quickly
adjusted to a frequently used setting with a single button touch.
To save a new preset temperature for the active user, manually adjust
the driver’s temperature to the desired value then touch and hold the
MyTemp button for at least two seconds. Any subsequent touch of the
MyTemp button will automatically change to this set temperature for this
user.
Operating tips
•To reduce fog build-up on the windshield during humid weather,
select
(defrost).
•To reduce humidity build-up inside the vehicle: do not drive with the
system off or with recirculated air engaged.
•Do not put objects under the front seats that will interfere with the
airflow to the back seats.
•Remove any snow, ice or leaves from the air intake area at the base of
the windshield.
•To improve the A/C cool down, drive with the windows slightly open
for 2–3 minutes after starting the vehicle or until the vehicle has
“aired out.”
•A small amount of air may be felt from the floor vent regardless of the
air distribution setting that is selected.
During extreme high ambient temperatures when idling stationary for
extended periods of time in gear, it is recommended to run the A/C in
MAX A/C, reduce blower fan speed from the highest setting and put the
vehicle’s transmission in P (Park) to continue to receive cool air from
your A/C system.
For maximum cooling performance (MAX A/C):
1. Press MAX A/C. The system will default to single-zone operation and
set the temperature to 60°F (16°C).
2. A/C,
andwill be selected.
3. Fan speed will be determined by the vehicle’s internal temperature,
but can be adjusted as desired.

HEADLAMP CONTROL
Turns the lamps off.
Turns on the parking
lamps, instrument panel lamps,
license plate lamps and tail lamps.
Turns the headlamps on.
Autolamp control (if equipped)
The autolamp system provides light
sensitive automatic on-off control of
the exterior lights normally
controlled by the headlamp control.
•To turn autolamps on, rotate the
control to
.
•To turn autolamps off, rotate the
control from the autolamp
position.
The autolamp system also keeps the
lights on for a predetermined amount of time after the ignition switch is
turned to off. You can change the amount of time the lamps stay on by
using the programming procedure that follows:
Note:If the vehicle is equipped with autolamps, it will have the
headlamps on with windshield wipers feature.If the windshield
wipers are turned on, the exterior lamps will turn on with the headlamp
control in the autolamp position.
Autolamp delay system (if equipped)
If your vehicle is equipped with autolamps, you can set the delay time to
keep the headlights on for up to three minutes after the key is turned
off. The delay time is set to 20 seconds at the factory, but the delay time
may be changed by following the steps below (Steps 1 through 6 must
be done within 10 seconds):
1. Turn the vehicle off.
2. Rotate the headlamp control to the autolamp position.

4. Locate the vertical adjuster on
each headlamp. Using a Hex head
driver, turn the adjuster either
clockwise (to adjust down) or
counterclockwise (to adjust up).
The horizontal edge of the brighter
light should touch the horizontal
reference line.
5. Close the hood and turn off the lamps.
HORIZONTAL AIM IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS VEHICLE AND IS
NON-ADJUSTABLE.
TURN SIGNAL CONTROL
The turn signal lever does not mechanically lock in the upward or
downward position when activated. The turn signal control activation and
cancellation is electronic.
•To operate the left turn signal,
push the lever down until it stops
and release.
•To operate the right turn signal,
push the lever up until it stops
and release.
•To manually cancel turn signal operation, push the lever again in
either direction.
Lane change
To indicate a left or right lane change:
•Push the lever up/down to the first stop position and release. The turn
signals will flash three times and stop.
•Push the lever up/down to the first stop position and hold. The turn
signals will flash for as long as the lever is held in this position.

BULB REPLACEMENT
Lamp assembly condensation
Exterior lamps are vented to accommodate normal changes in pressure.
Condensation can be a natural by-product of this design. When moist air
enters the lamp assembly through the vents, there is a possibility that
condensation can occur when the temperature is cold. When normal
condensation occurs, a thin film of mist can form on the interior of the
lens. The thin mist eventually clears and exits through the vents during
normal operation. Clearing time may take as long as 48 hours under dry
weather conditions.
Examples of acceptable condensation are:
•Presence of thin mist (no streaks, drip marks or droplets)
•Fine mist covers less than 50% of the lens
Examples of unacceptable moisture (usually caused by a lamp water
leak) are:
•Water puddle inside the lamp
•Large water droplets, drip marks or streaks present on the interior of
the lens
Take your vehicle to a dealer for service if any of the above conditions of
unacceptable moisture are present.
Using the right bulbs
Replacement bulbs are specified in the chart below. Headlamp bulbs
must be marked with an authorized “D.O.T.” for North America and an
“E” for Europe to ensure lamp performance, light brightness and pattern
and safe visibility. The correct bulbs will not damage the lamp assembly
or void the lamp assembly warranty and will provide quality bulb burn
time.

addition, the driver can temporarily increase the vehicle speed above the
current speed by manually pressing on the accelerator pedal.
WARNING:Always pay close attention to changing road
conditions, especially when using adaptive cruise control.
Adaptive cruise control cannot replace attentive driving. Failing to
follow any of the warnings below or failing to pay attention to the road
may result in a collision, serious injury or death.
WARNING:Adaptive cruise control is not a collision warning or
avoidance system. Additionally, adaptive cruise control will not
detect:
•Stationary or slow moving vehicles below 6 mph (10 km/h).
•Pedestrians or objects in the roadway.
•Oncoming vehicles in the same lane.
WARNING:Do not use the adaptive cruise control when
entering or leaving a highway, in heavy traffic or on roads that
are winding, slippery or unpaved.
WARNING:Do not use in poor visibility, specifically fog, rain,
spray or snow.

Note:It is the drivers responsibility to stay alert, drive safely and be in
control of the vehicle at all times.

Do not use the HomeLinkWireless Control System with any garage
door opener that lacks safety stop and reverse features as required by
U.S. federal safety standards (this includes any garage door opener
model manufactured before April 1, 1982). A garage door which cannot
detect an object, signaling the door to stop and reverse, does not meet
current U.S. federal safety standards. For more information, contact

Retain the original transmitter for use in other vehicles as well as for
future programming procedures (i.e. new HomeLinkequipped vehicle
purchase). It is also suggested that upon the sale of the vehicle, the
programmed Homelinkbuttons be erased for security purposes, refer to
Programmingin this section.
Programming
Do not program HomeLinkwith the vehicle parked in the garage.
Note:Your vehicle may require the ignition switch to be turned to the
accessory position for programming and/or operation of the HomeLink.
It is also recommended that a new battery be placed in the hand-held
transmitter of the device being programmed to HomeLinkfor quicker
training and accurate transmission of the radio-frequency signal.
1. Position the end of your
hand-held transmitter 1–3 inches
(2–8 cm) away from the HomeLink
button you wish to program (located
on your visor) while keeping the
indicator light in view.
2. Simultaneously press and hold
both the chosen HomeLinkand
hand-held transmitter buttons until the HomeLinkindicator light
changes from a slow to a rapidly blinking light. Now you may release
both the HomeLinkand hand-held transmitter buttons.
Note:Some entry gates and garage door openers may require you to
replace Step 2 with procedures noted in theGate Operator and
Canadian Programmingin this section for Canadian residents.
3. Firmlypress and hold for five seconds and releasethe
programmed HomeLinkbutton up to two separate times to activate the
door. If the door does not activate, press and hold the just-trained
HomeLinkbutton and observe the indicator light.
