Warning lamps
When the engine is running or the ve-
hicle is being driven, the illumination of
one of the following warning lamps in-
dicates a fault which requires action on
the part of the driver. Any fault resulting in the illumination of a warning lamp must be investigated
further by reading the associated message in the multifunction screen.
If you encounter any problems, do not hesitate to contact a CITROËN dealer
or a qualifi ed workshop.






STOP


fi xed, alone
or associated
with another
warning lamp,
accompanied
by an audible
signal and a
message on
the screen. Illumination of the warning
lamp is associated with a
serious braking system or
engine coolant temperature
problem. Stop as soon as it is safe to do so as the engine
may cut out when driving.
Park, switch off the ignition and call a CITROËN
dealer or a qualifi ed workshop.





Service

occurred for which there is
no specifi c warning lamp. Identify the problem by reading the message
shown in the screen, such as, for example:


- the engine oil level,

- the screenwash level,

- the remote control battery,

- saturation of the particle emission fi lter on
Diesel vehicles (see "Checks - § particle
emissions fi lter").
For any other faults, contact a CITROËN dealer
or a qualifi ed workshop.

DRIVING
The system will be deactivated
automatically when towing a
trailer or when a bicycle carrier is
fi tted (vehicle fi tted with a towbar
or bicycle carrier recommended
by CITROËN). In bad or wintry weather, ensure
that the sensors are not covered
with mud, frost or snow.


Programming

You can activate or deactivate the
system by means of the multifunction
screen confi guration menu. The system
state is memorised when switching off
the ignition.
For more information on access to
the parking sensors menu, refer to
"Confi guration/Vehicle parameters" in
the "Multifunction screens" section cor-
responding to your screen.
Operating faults
If there is an operating fault,
when reverse gear is en-
gaged this warning lamp
comes on in the instrument panel, ac-
companied by an audible signal (short
beep) and a message in the multifunc-
tion screen.

AUDIO
Insert circular compact discs only.
Some anti-pirating systems, on original discs or CDs copied using a
personal recorder, may cause faults which are no refl ection on the quality of the original player.

g the EJECT button, insert a CD in the player, playbegins automatically.

To play a disc which has already been
inserted, press the SOURCE buttonseveral times in succession andselect CD.

fast forward or backward.








RECEIVING TA MESSAGES
Press the TA button to activate or
deactivate traffi c messages.
The TA
(Traffi c Announcement) function gives priority to TA alert messages. To operate, this function needs good reception of a
radio station transmitting this type of message. When a traffi c
report is transmitted, the current audio source (Radio, CD, ...) is
interrupted automatically to play the TA message. Normal playbackof the audio source resumes at the end of the transmission of themessage.
