When the ignition is on, the orange and red
warning lamps come on.
When the engine is running, these warninglamps should go off.
If warning lamps remain on, refer to the
information on the warning lamp in question.

Electronic gearbox
Moving off
With the parking brake applied, press the brakepedal then select position N to star t the engine.
With your foot on the brake, select position R , Eor M.Release the parking brake, take your foot off
the brake
pedal, then accelerate. Select position
Eusing the gear lever.
The gear engaged is displayed in the
instrument panel screen.

The gearbox continuously selects the most
suitable gear.


Manual mode

Press the clutch pedal fully when changinggear.

Reverse
To engage reverse gear, push the gear lever fully to the right then towards the rear. Reverse gear can only be engaged when the vehicle is stationary, engine at idle.

Place the gear lever in position M
, then changeup or down through the gears by pressing the lever:


- rearwards, "+"to change up,

- forwards, "-"to change down.
You can also use the steering mounted control
paddles.

Rev counter
Approaching the maximum engine speed, when
the rev counter needle crosses into the red
zone, you must change up.

Fuel tank

Open the fuel filler flap. )
Inser t the key in the filler cap, turn it slightly
to the left and then return to the right.
The key returns to its initial position and the filler cap is then unlocked.
Low fuel level

When the low fuel level is reached,
the last bar
flashes, accompanied byan audible signal.
Yo u h a v e a p p r o x i m a t e ly 5 litres
remaining.In cer tain driving conditions and depending on
t
he engine, the distance which can be travelled
with the fuel remaining may be less than30 miles (50 km).
When the frequency of the flashing increases, you have approximately 3 litres remaining . )Unscrew the cap with the key.

)Hang the filler cap on the bracket, located
on the inner face of the filler flap.


A label affixed on the inside of the flap reminds you which type of fuel to use.
When you fill the fuel tank, do not continue after
the 3rd cut-off of the pump. This could cause
malfunctions.
The capacity of the fuel tank isapproximately 35 litres.)After filling the fuel tank, screw the cap
back on fully to the right until it clicks
thenclose the flap.
The fuel tank must be filled with theengine switched off.

If you run out of fuel, the emissioncontrol system warning lamp may come on in the instrument panel. It will go off
automatically after the engine has been started a few times.

and the gear engaged (1 to 5 ) are displayed in
the instrument panel screen.




















Electronic gearbox
Reverse "R". This gear will beengaged when stationary or at a
speed below approximately 4 mph (6 km/h).
Engagement of reverse gear is accompanied
by an audible signal.


Moving off

With the parking brake applied, press the brakepedal then select position Nto star t the engine.
With your foot on the brake, select position R , Eor M.
Release the parking brake, take your foot off
the brake
pedal, then accelerate. The
five-speed electronic gearbox gearboxoffers a choice between the ease of automated operationor the driving pleasure of manual gear changing
.
You can chan
ge from position Eto position Mand vice versa at any time.
Gear lever positions
Select the driving mode by moving the gear
lever.
N eutral "N".
Position the lever to the right inposition N, to star t the engine.
E
asy "E": automatic gear changing.
M
anual (+ / -) "M": manual gear changing.


Steering mounted control paddles
Press behind the +steering mounted control
paddle to change up.
Press behind the -steering mounted control
paddle to change down.
With the engine running, in these three positions, an audible signal is heard when the driver's door is opened.
