General points relating to child seats
For maximum safety, please obser ve the following recommendations:
- in accordance with European regulations,
all children under the age of 12 or less
than one and a half metres tall must
travel in a
pproved child seats suited to
their weight , on seats fitted with a seat
belt or ISOFIX mountings * ,-statistically, the safest seats in your
vehicle for carrying children are the rear seats,- a child weighing less than 9 kg must
travel in the "rearwards-facing" position both in the front and in the rear.
CITROËN recommends that childrenshould travel in the rear seats
of your vehicle: -"rearwards-facing"up to the age of 2, -
"forwards-facing"over the age of 2.
Although one of CITROËN's main criteria when designing your vehicle, the safety of your childrenalso depends on you.

Your vehicle has been approved in accordance

ISOFIX regulation .
The seats, represented below, are fitted with
re
gulation ISOFIX mountings:
"ISOFIX" mountings
There are three rings for each seat: This ISOFIX mounting system provides fast,
reliable and safe fitting of the child seat in your
vehicle.
The ISOFIX child seats
are fitted with two latches which are secured on the two rings A. Some seats also have an upper strapwhich is secured to the ring B.
To a t t a c h t h i s s t r ap, remove the head restraint from the vehicle's seat. Attach the hook to the
ring B
, then tighten the upper strap.
The incorrect installation of a child seatin a vehicle compromises the child's protection in the event of an accident.

The stay for the ISOFIX base must be adjusted in height so that it is contact
with the floor of the vehicle.
RÖMER Duo Plus ISOFIX(size class B1 )
Group 1: from 9 to 18 kg
It is installed in the for wards facing position.
It is fitted with an upper strap that is attached to the ISOFIX upper ring, called the TOP TETHER.
Three angles for the shell: sitting, inclined and lying positions.
This child seat can also be used on seats which are not fitted with ISOFIX mountings.
In this case, it must be attached to the vehicle seat using the three point seat belt.Follow the instructions for fitting the child seat given in the seat manufacturer's installation guide.
