Therefore, youshouldneverletairoutofa
warmtiretomatch"coldtireinflation pres

recommendations.Thetireswouldthen
beunderinflatedandcould failsuddenly.
Maintainingpropertirepressureisoneofthe
mostimportantthingsyoucandotohelp
avoid
suddentire failure.Underinflatedtires
areamajorcauseofsuddentire failure. Keep
ing
tiresattherightpressureisalsoimpor
tantforsafeandresponsive vehiclehandling,
traction,brakingandloadcarrying. Tirepres
suresareparticularlyimportantwhenthe
vehicle isbeingdrivenathigherspeeds,and
thenespeciallywhenheavilyloadedeven
withinthepermissibleload-carryingcapaci
tiesapprovedforyourvehicle.
