Pull to the side of the road when it is
saf e, shif t to Park, and let the engine
idle until the indicator goes out. This indicator normally comes on f or
a f ew seconds when you select the
ON mode with the engine start/stop
button (see page ). If it comes on
at any other time, it indicates that
there is a problem with the system. If this indicator comes on along
with a ‘‘CHECK KEYLESS
STARTING SYSTEM’’ message
on the multi-information display,
there is a problem with the keyless
starting system. In this case, your
vehicle may not restart. If you can
continue to drive saf ely, take the
vehicle to your dealer and have it
checked as soon as possible. For
more information, see page .
This indicator has two f unctions:

after the display is reset, change the engine oil every year.

Inspect idle speed every 160,000 miles (256,000 km). Independent of the Maintenance Minder information, replace the brake
fluid every 3 years.
Adjust the valves during services A, B, 1, 2, or 3 if they are noisy.

stress to fluid. This requires differential fluid changes

vehicle under these conditions, have the differential
fluid changed at 7,500 miles (12,000 km), then every
15,000 miles (24,000 km).
