Causes some exterior lights to blink when

Changes how long (in seconds) the exterior
lights stay on after you close the driver’s
door.
Changes the timing of when the headlights

in the CUSTOMIZE GROUP of the
multi-inf ormation display, press the
SEL/RESET button. You will see the
above display.Press the SEL/RESET button. The
screen changes as shown above.
Select how long you want the lights
to stay on bef ore they f ade out (60,
30, or 15 seconds) by pressing the
INFO ( / ) button, then press the
SEL/RESET button to enter your
selection. The interior lights f ade out when you
close all doors. To change how long

µ The trunk cannot be locked if :
When the trunk is locked, you can
open it in any of these ways:Press this button once to
lock all doors. Some exterior lights
will f lash. When you push the LOCK
button twice within 5 seconds, you
will hear a beep to verify that the
doors are locked and the security
system is set.
Pull the trunk release switch when
carrying the remote (the system
beeps once). Press the trunk button on the
remote. Press the trunk release button
inside the vehicle.Keep the trunk lid closed at all times
while driving to avoid damaging the
lid, and to prevent exhaust gas f rom
getting into the interior. See
on page . The remote is too close to the
seat-back of the rear seat or the

µ You cannot lock the doors if any
door is not f ully closed, if the built-in
key is in the ignition switch, or if the
ignition switch is in any position
except the LOCK (0) position.
When you cannot set the security
system because the trunk or hood is
open, no exterior light blinks and/or
no beeper sounds.
Press this button once
to unlock the driver’s door. Press it
twice to unlock the other doors.
Some exterior lights will f lash twice
each time you press the button. The
ceiling light (if the ceiling light
switch is in the DOOR position) will
come on when you press the
UNLOCK button. If you do not open
any door within 30 seconds, the
ceiling light f ades out. If you relock
the doors with the remote before 30
seconds have elapsed, the ceiling
light will go of f immediately.To change the ‘‘DOOR LOCK
MODE’’ setting, see page .
To change the ‘‘INTERIOR LIGHT
DIMMING TIME,’’ see page .
If you unlock the doors with the
remote, but do not open any door
within 30 seconds, the doors
automatically relock and the security
system sets.

You can also open all power windows
and the moonroof f rom outside the
vehicle with the remote transmitter

You cannot open the trunk if the
built-in key is in the ignition or the

cannot open the trunk with the
remote if the trunk main switch is
turned off.

Your vehicle has an owner’s manual
tray inside the glove box. To open
the tray, push the release button up. Open the glove box by pulling the
handle. Close it with a f irm push.
Lock or unlock the glove box with
the built-in key.
To close the tray, push it up. The glove box light comes on only

To open the console compartment,
pull up on the lever and lif t the
armrest.
To close, lower the armrest, and
push it down until it latches.You can put small items in the tray
located in the console compartment
lid. To use the tray, pull up on the
lever, and lift the armrest pad. The rear beverage holder is in the
rear seat armrest. Open the
beverage holder by pulling up on the
latch on the front.

You can extend the sun visor f urther
by pulling it back. To use a sun visor, pull it down. You
can also use a sun visor at the side
window. Remove the support rod
f rom the clip, and swing the sun
visor toward the side window.Do not use the sun visor extension
f eature over the rearview mirror.

back to its original position bef ore
f lipping it back in place.

back in place when you are getting
