OBD WARNING LIGHT ACTIVATION REQUEST
STATUS DEFINITION"OFF": This status indicates that the OBD warning light activation request is not
active.
"ON": This status indicates that the OBD warning light activation request is active.
"FLASHING": This status indicates that OBD warning light activation request is
alternating.
NOTESSpecial notes:
Only perform these tests if the status does not correspond with the system
programming functions.
Conformity check with engine stopped and ignition on, or engine running, and engine coolant temperature
>80 °C
OFF
The status is "OFF" when no fault associated with the antipollution system is present or
stored.
ONThe status is "ON" when one or more faults associated with the antipollution system is
present or stored.
Consult the fault summary table to determine the faults associated with activation of the
OBD warning light.
Interpret the present or stored faults.
FLASHINGNONE
AFTER REPAIRCarry out a road test, then check with the diagnostic tool.
