the Porsche Development Centre in
Weissach, Germany – from design
through to launch. Every product
undergoes exhaustive testing
throughout its development to
ensure optimum performance and
durabilit y. This is because they
have to meet the highest standards
of Porsche quality and functionality.
One of the highlights of the range
is the sports tailpipe. Painstakingly
craf ted from stainless steel, it
has a polished, nanocoat finish.
As part of its development, the
sports tailpipe underwent exten-
sive testing in our Weissach
facility. In the hot-shaker test rig
it was subjected to various load
profiles and its stabilit y under the
effect of road and engine vibra-
tions was examined. The sports

Sports bucket seat
With integral thorax airbag, manual
fore/aft adjustment and folding
backrest. The backrest shell is
made from plastic reinforced with
glass fibre and carbon fibre with a
stylish carbon-weave finish. Availa-
ble in black leather with embossed
Porsche Crest on the headrest,
or in black flame - resistant material.
Child seats must not be used
with the sports bucket seats.

from historic race vehicles, it has

with PASM) for the chassis. If

Macassar wood
Macassar ebony is dark and dis-
tinctive with a modern, elegant
look. The deep black heart wood
has reddish - brown lines and
