SCREEN AND MAIN MENU
The system uses the complete and detailed NAVTEQ maps installed directly on the equipment's hard disk.
Updates of the maps of the UK and of the other European countries, supplied by our partner NAVTEQ, are available from the PEUGEOT network.
This displa

(if there is a risk of ice, you are warned by amessage),

Insert the medium
(CD ROM or USB memory stick)containing the POI database into the system's CD player
or USB port.

ystem detects the medium inserted automatically.Confi rm the start of the update by validating "YES".
Successful downloading is confi rmed by a message.
The medium must be blank with no other data present.

Press the NAV button again or select
the Navigation Menu function and
press the dial to confi rm.
Select the "Destination in
put"
function and press the dial to
confi rm. Pr

Select the letters of the town one
by one confi rming each time by pressing the dial.
Once the country has been selected,
turn the dial and select the townfunction. Press the dial to confi rm. Insert the
SD card in the front panel reader and leave it there to use the
Navigation functions.
The navi
gation SD card data must not be modifi ed.
Map data updates are available
from PEUGEOT dealers.

A pre-set list (by entering the fi rst few letters) of the towns in thecountry selected can be accessed via the LIST button on the virtual
keypad.
Select the "Address input" function
and press the dial to confi rm.

The list o
f the last 20 destinations appears under the NavigationMenu function.

Select the "POI categories on Map"function to select the POIs to be
displayed on the map by default. Pr

UPDATING THE RISK AREAS POIs

This requires an SDHC (High Capacity) compatible reader.
Download the update fi le from the Internet
(www.peugeot.fr or
www.peugeot.co.uk).

Open this fi le and copy the extracted documents to the DATABASEfolder on the SD card, replacing the existing fi les.
To activate or deactivate vocal
guidance, with guidance active and
the map displayed in the screen, press the dial and then select or deselect "Voice advice".

PEUGEOT CONNECT USB


The system puts together playlists (temporary memory) createdover a period which depends on the capacity of the USB device.
The other sources are available durin
g this time.
The pla
ylists are updated each time the ignition is switched off or each time a USB memory stick is connected.
When connectin
g for the fi rst time, the classifi cation suggested
is by folder. When you reconnect, the classifi cation selected
previously is retained.
Connect the memory stick to the port, directly or using a lead. If the audio equipment is switched
on, the USB source is detected as soon as it
is connected. Play begins automatically after
a delay which depends on the capacity of theUSB memory stick.
The fi le formats reco
gnised are .mp3 (mpeg1 layer 3 only), .wma (standard 9 only,
128 kbits/sec compression), .wav and .ogg.
The playlists types accepted are m
3u, .pls, .wpl.
This unit consists of a USB port and an auxiliar
yJack socket *
. The audio fi les are transmittedfrom portable equipment such as a digitalplayer or a USB memory stick to your PeugeotConnect Sound to be listened to via the vehicle'sspeakers.
