• Left-hand A pillar: All markets except
China.
• Right-hand A pillar: China.
Note: The VIN number is also stamped on
a plate, visible through the bottom left
hand side of the windscreen.

Note: To access the number, it may be
necessary to remove the engine covers. For
further assistance, contact your Dealer/
Authorised Repairer.
I4 Diesel engines : Located on the left side of
the cylinder block, near the sump.
V6 Diesel engines : Located on a metal label
attached to the top of the left-hand camshaft
cover.
V6 petrol engines : Located on the lower
left-hand side of the cy linder block, near the
bedplate.
V8 petrol engines : Located on the front of the
right-hand cam cover.
TRANSMISSION NUMBER
The transmission number is located on a label
attached to the transmission casing.
VEHICLE BUILD DATE PLATE
(Australia only)
The vehicle built date is shown on the VIN
plate.
