WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER
OPERATION
The windshield wiper and washer operates
when the ignition switch is in the ON position.
Push the lever down to operate the wiper at the
following speed:
1Intermittent — intermittent operation can beadjusted by turning the knob toward
A
(Slower) orB(Faster). When the speed
sensing wiper interval function is turned on,
the intermittent operation speed varies in
accordance with the vehicle speed. (For
example, when the vehicle speed is high,
the intermittent operation speed will be
faster.) To turn this function on and off, see “HOW TO USE SETTING BUTTON” in the “4.
Monitor, climate, audio, phone and voice
recognition systems” section.
2Low — continuous low speed operation
3High — continuous high speed operation
Push the lever up
4to have one sweep
operation of the wiper.
Pull the lever toward you
5to operate the
washer. Then the wiper will also operate several
times.
Wiper drip wipe system (if so equipped):
The wiper will also operate once about 3 sec-
onds after the washer and wiper are operated.
This operation is to wipe washer fluid that has
dripped on the windshield.
REAR WINDOW WIPER AND WASHER
OPERATION
If the rear window wiper operation is interrupted
by snow etc., the wiper may stop moving to pro-
tect its motor. If this occurs, turn the wiper
switch to OFF and remove the snow etc. on and
around the wiper arms. After about 1 minute,
turn the switch ON again to operate the wiper.
The rear window wiper and washer operate
when the ignition switch is in the ON position.
Turn the switch clockwise from the OFF position
to operate the wiper.

If the power supply is disconnected, the clock
will not indicate the correct time. Readjust the
time.
ADJUSTING THE TIME
1. To set the clock forward, push the button

3. To move forward or backward faster, push and hold the button more than 5 seconds.

in the “4. Monitor, climate, audio, phone and
voice recognition systems” section. The power outlet is used for powering electrical
accessories such as cellular telephones.
CAUTION
●
The outlet and plug may be hot during or
immediately after use.
● Do not use with accessories that exceed a 12
volt, 120W (10A) power draw. Do not use
double adapters or more than one electrical
accessory.
● Use power outlet with the engine running to
avoid discharging the vehicle battery.
● Avoid using power outlet when the air condi-
tioner, headlights or rear window defroster
is on.
● This power outlet is not designed for use
with a cigarette lighter unit.
● Push the plug in as far as it will go. If good
contact is not made, the plug may overheat
or the internal temperature fuse may blow.
● Before inserting or disconnecting a plug, be
sure the electrical accessory being used is
turned OFF.
● When not in use, be sure to close the cap. Do
not allow water or any liquid to contact the
outlet.

DISPLAY settings (models without
navigation system)
The “Display” screen will appear when pushing
theSETTING button, selecting “Display” key
with the INFINITI controller and pushing the
ENTER button.
Display :
To turn off the screen, push the ENTERbutton
and turn the “ON” indicator off.
When any mode button is pushed with the
screen off, the screen turns on for further
operation. The screen will turn off automatically
5 seconds after the operation is finished. To turn on the screen, set this item to the “ON”
position or push the “
” button.
Brightness/Contrast/Background Colour :
To adjust the brightness, contrast and back-
ground colour of the screen, select the appro-
priate “Brightness”, “Contrast” or “Background
Colour” key and push the ENTERbutton.
Then, you can adjust the brightness to “Darker”
or “Brighter”, and the contrast to “Lower” or
“Higher” using the INFINITI controller. Switch
the background colour to the daytime mode or
the nighttime mode by pushing the ENTER
button.
Clock settings (models with
navigation system)
The display as illustrated will appear when
pushing the SETTING button and selecting the
“Clock” key.
The clock settings display cannot be operated
while driving. Stop the vehicle in a safe place
and apply the parking brake before setting the
clock.
On-screen Clock :
When this item is turned to ON, a clock is
always displayed in the upper right corner of
the screen.

This clock will indicate the time almost exactly
because it is always adjusted by the GPS system.
Clock Format (24h) :
When this item is turned to ON, the 24-hour
clock is displayed. When this item is not turned
to ON, the 12-hour clock is displayed.
Offset (hour)/(min) :
Adjust the time by increasing or decreasing per
hour or per minute.
Daylight Saving Time :
Turn this item to ON for daylight saving time
application.
Time Zone :
Choose the time zone from the following
●Pacific
● Mountain
● Central
● Eastern
● Atlantic
● Newfoundland
● Hawaii
● Alaska
CAMERA settings (if equipped)
The “CAMERA” screen will appear when push-
ing the SETTING button, selecting the “Camera”
key with the INFINITI controller and pushing the
ENTER button.
For the details about the camera system opera-
tion, see “REARVIEW MONITOR” later in this
section.
Predictive Course Lines :
When this item is turned to ON, the predicted
course lines will be displayed on the monitor
when the selector/shift lever is in the “R”
(Reverse) position.
