Lift Steering Wheel on Exit (if so equipped) :
When this item is turned on, the steering wheel
moves upward for easy exit if the ignition
switch is in the LOCK position and the driver’s
door is opened. After getting into the vehicle
and pushing the ignition switch to the ACC
position, the steering wheel moves to the pre-
vious position.
Slide Driver Seat Back on Exit (if so equipped) :
When this item is turned on, the driver’s seat
moves backward for easy exit if the ignition
switch is in the OFF position and the driver’s
door is opened. After getting into the vehicle
and pushing the ignition switch to the ACC
position, the driver’s seat moves to the previous
position.
Light Off Delay :
Choose the duration of the automatic headlight
off timer from 0, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 150 and
180 second periods.
Speed Sensing Wiper Interval :
When this item is turned on, the wiper interval
is adjusted automatically according to the ve-
hicle speed.Selective Door Unlock :
When this item is turned on, only the driver’s
door is unlocked first after the door unlock
operation. When the door handle request
switch on the driver’s or front passenger’s side
door is pushed to be unlocked, only the corre-
sponding door is unlocked first. All the doors
can be unlocked if the door unlock operation is
performed again within 60 seconds.
When this item is turned to OFF, all the doors
will be unlocked after the door unlock operation
is performed once.
Intelligent Key Lock/Unlock :
When this item is turned to ON, door
lock/unlock function by pushing the door
handle request switch will be activated.
Return All Settings to Default :
Select this item and then select “YES” to return
all settings to the default.
Language & Units settings
The Language & Units settings display will
appear when pushing the SETTING button, se-
lecting the “Language/Units” key with the
INFINITI controller and pushing the ENTER but-
ton.
For models with the navigation system, select
the “Others” key to show the “Language/Units”
key.
Select Language :
Select the “Select Language” key. Choose “Eng-
lish”, “Français” or “Español” for your favorite
display appearance.

If you select the “Français” key, the French
language will be displayed, so please use the
French Owner’s Manual. To obtain a French
Owner’s Manual, see “OWNER’S
MANUAL/SERVICE MANUAL ORDER INFORMA-
TION” in the “9. Technical and consumer infor-
mation” section.
Select Units :
Select the “Select Units” key. Choose “US”
(Mile, °F, MPG) or “Metric” (km, °C, L/100 km)
for your favorite display appearance.
Voice Recognition settings (models
with navigation system)
For details about the “Voice Recognition” set-
tings, see “INFINITI VOICE RECOGNITION SYS-
TEM (models with navigation system)” later in
this section.
Image Viewer (models with
navigation system)
The image files in the USB memory will be
displayed. To display the Image Viewer, push
the SETTING button, select the “Other” key and
then select the “Image Viewer” key. The image
of the selected file is displayed on the right side
of the screen.
When a number of folders are included in the
USB memory, select a folder from the list to
display the file list.Images will not be shown on the display while
the vehicle is in any drive position in order to
reduce driver distraction. To view images, stop
the vehicle in a safe location and apply the
parking brake.

NOTE:
When the monitor displays the front view and
the steering wheel turns about 90 degrees or
less from the neutral position, both the right and
left predicted course lines
6are displayed.
When the steering wheel turns about 90 degrees
or more, a line is displayed only on the opposite
side of the turn.
Bird-eye view
The bird-eye view shows the overhead view of
the vehicle which helps confirm the vehicle
position and the predicted course to a parking
space.
The vehicle icon
1shows the position of the
vehicle. Note that the size of the vehicle icon on
the bird-eye view may differ somewhat from the
actual vehicle.
The areas that the cameras cannot cover
2are
indicated in black.
After pushing the ignition switch, with the
Non-viewable Area Reminder (models with
navigation)/Blind-Area Reminder (models with-
out navigation) turned to ON, the non-viewable area
2is highlighted in yellow for 7 seconds
after the bird-eye view is displayed.
When the corner of the vehicle moves closer to
an object, the corner sonar indicator
3ap-
pears.
WARNING
● Objects in the bird-eye view will appear fur-
ther than the actual distance because the
bird-eye view is a pseudo view that is pro-
cessed by combining the views from the
cameras on the outside mirrors, the front
and the rear of the vehicle.
● Tall objects, such as a curb or vehicle, may
be misaligned or not displayed at the seam
of the views.
● Objects that are above the camera cannot be
displayed.
● The view for the bird-eye view may be mis-
aligned when the camera position alters.
● A line on the ground may be misaligned and
is not seen as being straight at the seam of
the views. The misalignment will increase as
the line proceeds away from the vehicle.

HOW TO ADJUST THE SCREEN VIEW
To adjust the Display ON/OFF, Brightness, Tint,
Color, Contrast and Black Level of the Around
View Monitor, push theSETTINGbutton with the
Around View Monitor on, select the item key
and adjust the level using the INFINITI control-
ler.
Do not adjust the Brightness, Tint, Color, Con-
trast and Black Level of the Around View Moni-
tor while the vehicle is moving. Make sure the
parking brake is firmly applied.
AROUND VIEW MONITOR SETTINGS
To set up the Around View Monitor to your pre-
ferred settings, push the SETTINGbutton, select
the “Camera” key and push the ENTERbutton.
Predictive Course Lines:
When this item is turned on, the predictive course
line is displayed in the front and the rearview.
Camera View Priority:
The view shown on the screen at the beginning
of around view monitor operation can be se-
lected in order of priority.
Color/Brightness Combination (models without
navigation system):
When this item is turned on, color and bright-
ness of the displayed screen is adjusted.
Non-viewable Area Reminder (models with
navigation)/Blind-Area Reminder (models with-
out navigation):
When this item is turned on, the non-viewable
area is highlighted in yellow for 7 seconds after
the bird-eye view is displayed.
Sonar Beep:
When this item is turned on, you will hear a tone
sound when the corner sonar indicator appears.

Open or close, and adjust the air flow direction
of ventilators.
: This symbol indicates that the vents areclosed.

WARNING
● The air conditioner cooling function oper-
ates only when the engine is running.
● Do not leave children or adults who would
normally require the support of others alone
in your vehicle. Pets should not be left alone
either. On hot, sunny days, temperatures in
a closed vehicle could quickly become high
enough to cause severe or possibly fatal in-
juries to people or animals.
● Do not use the recirculation mode for long
periods as it may cause the interior air to
become stale and the windows to fog up.
Start the engine and operate the automatic
climate control system.
When the “STATUS” button is pushed, the
automatic climate control status screen will
appear. (See “HOW TO USE STATUS BUTTON”
earlier in this section.)

Ion control :
This unit generates highly concentrated Plas-
macluster ions into the air blown from the
ventilators and reduces odor absorbed into the
interior trim.
When the air conditioner is turned on, the
system generates Plasmacluster ions automati-
cally.
The amount of Plasmacluster ions increases
according to the amount of air flow. When the
air flow is high, “
” is displayed on the
screen and when the air flow is low, the indica-
tion in the screen changes to “
”.
Exhaust gas/outside odor detecting sensor :
This vehicle is equipped with an exhaust
gas/outside odor detecting sensor. When the
automatic intake air control is ON, the sensor
detects odors and exhaust gas and the system
then automatically changes from the outside air
circulation mode to the recirculation mode.
When the intake air control button is pushed
under the following conditions, the indicator
light on the “
” side will illuminate and the
exhaust gas/outside odor detecting sensor will
turn on. ●
The air flow control is not in the front
defogger mode (the indicator light on the
“
” front defogger button is turned off).
● The outside temperature is about 32°F (0°C)
or more.
● The exhaust gas/outside odor detecting sen-
sor detects industrial odors such as pulp or
chemicals and exhaust gas such as gasoline
or diesel.
When the automatic intake air control is ON, for
the first 5 minutes, the recirculation mode is
selected to prevent dust, dirt and pollen from
entering the vehicle and cleans the air inside of
the vehicle with Plasumacluster ion that are
emitted from the ventilator.
After 5 minutes, the sensor detects outside odor
and exhaust gas and automatically alternates
between the recirculation mode and outside air
circulation mode.
OPERATING TIPS
When the engine coolant temperature and out-
side air temperature are low, the air flow from
the foot outlets may not operate. This is not a
malfunction. After the coolant temperature
warms up, air will flow normally from the foot
outlets.

●Trying to load a CD with the CD door closed
could damage the CD and/or CD changer.
● During cold weather or rainy days, the player
may malfunction due to the humidity. If this
occurs, remove the CD and dehumidify or
ventilate the player completely.
● The player may skip while driving on rough
roads.
● The CD player sometimes cannot function
when the passenger compartment tempera-
ture is extremely high. Decrease the tem-
perature before use.
● Only use high quality 4.7 in (12 cm) round
discs that have the “COMPACT disc DIGITAL
AUDIO” logo on the disc or packaging.
● Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight.
● CDs that are of poor quality, dirty, scratched,
covered with fingerprints, or that have pin
holes may not work properly.
● The following CDs may not work properly:
– Copy control compact discs (CCCD)
– Recordable compact discs (CD-R)
– Rewritable compact discs (CD-RW)
● Do not use the following CDs as they may
cause the CD player to malfunction.
– 3.1 in (8 cm) discs – CDs that are not round
– CDs with a paper label
– CDs that are warped, scratched, or have
abnormal edges
● This audio system can only play prerecorded
CDs. It has no capabilities to record or burn
CDs.
● If the CD cannot be played, one of the
following messages will be displayed.
CHECK DISC: – Confirm that the CD is inserted correctly (the label side is facing up, etc.).
– Confirm that the CD is not bent or warped and it is free of scratches.
PUSH EJECT:
This is an error due to the temperature inside
the player is too high. Remove the CD by
pushing the EJECT button, and after a short
time reinsert the CD. The CD can be played
when the temperature of the player returns to
normal.
UNPLAYABLE:
The file is unplayable in this audio system
(only MP3 or WMA CD).
DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) player
(models with navigation system)
● Do not force a compact disc into the CD/DVD
insert slot. This could damage the CD/DVD
player.
