This indicator comes on with the
high beam headlights. For more
inf ormation, see page .
This indicator also comes on with
reduced brightness when the
daytime running lights (DRL) are on
(see page ).
If this indicator comes on when you
turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position and release the parking
brake, it means there is a problem
with the DRL. There may also be a
problem with the high beam
headlights. Have your vehicle
checked by your dealer.
This indicator comes on as a
reminder that you must ref uel soon.
When the indicator comes on, there
are about 2.8 U.S. gal (10.5
)on
2WD models and 2.5 U.S. gal (9.6
)
on 4WD models of f uel remaining in
the tank.
When the needle reaches E, there

Push down on the
lef t lever to signal a lef t turn and up
to signal a right turn. To signal a lane
change, push lightly on the lever and
hold it. The lever will return to the
center when you release it or
complete a turn. When the light switch is in either of
these positions, the lights on
indicator comes on as a reminder.
This indicator stays on if you leave
the lights on and turn the ignition
switch to the ACCESSORY (I) or
LOCK (0) position.
To switch f rom low
beams to high beams, push the lef t
lever f orward until you hear a click.
The blue high beam indicator will
come on (see page ). Pull it back
to return to low beams. To flash the
high beams, pull the lever back
lightly, then release it. The high
beamsstayonaslongasyouhold
the lever back.
If equipped Turning the switch to
the ‘‘ ’’ position turns on the
parking lights, taillights, instrument
panel lights, side-marker lights, and
rear license plate lights.
Turning the switch to the ‘‘ ’’
position turns on the headlights.
If you leave the lights on with the key
removed from the ignition switch,
you will hear a reminder chime
when you open the driver’s door.

The select/reset knob on the
instrument panel controls the
brightness of the instrument panel
lights. Turn the knob to adjust the
brightness with the ignition switch in
the ON (II) position and the parking
lights on.
You can use the f og lights only when
the headlights are on low beam.
With the light switch in the AUTO
position (if equipped), you can also
use the f og lights when the
headlights turn on automatically.
They will go of f when the headlights
turn of f , or the daytime running
lights are on.
Turn the f og lights on and of f by
turning the switch next to the
headlight switch.
