This guide is not intended as a substitute for the Owner’s
Manual. For complete information on vehicle controls and
operation\b please refer to the respective sections in the
Owner’s Manual.
As with the Owner’s Manual\b this guide covers all trim levels
of the Accord Coupe. Therefore\b you may find descriptions
of equipment and features that are not on your particular
vehicle.

three clicks.

DRIVING POSITION MEMORY SYSTEM (DPMS) (if equipped)
Store a driver’s seat position into memory for each remote transmitter.
Programming DPMS
Note\bA stored memory position is linked to the corresponding keyless remote (1
or 2). Each item begins to adjust when you unlock the driver’s door with the remote
and enter the vehicle.
1. Turn the ignition switch to
ON (II). Shiftinto Park (P).
2. Adjust your seat to the preferred
setting. 3.
Press and hold the SET button
until you hear a beep\b then release.
4. Press and hold the memory
button # corresponding to the
remote (1 or 2) you are using
until you hear two beeps.
Paddle Modes
P A D D L E S H I F T I N G *( i f e q u i p p e d )
Manually shift your vehicle’s gears up or down. Useful for engine braking or when
driving in hilly terrain or cornering.
Pull ( ) to shift down. Pull(
+ ) to shift up.
* V6 automatic transmission model only
D Paddle Shift Mode
•
Move the shift lever to the D position.
• Pull (+) or ( ) to shift to a higher or lower
gear.
• The selected gear number is displayed on the gear position indicator.
• When the vehicle’s speed is constant or when you press the accelerator pedal\b the mode
returns to automatic.
Sequential Shift Mode
• Move the shift lever to the S position.
• Pull (+) or ( ) to manually shift between first
and fifth gears.
• The M indicator and selected gear number are displayed on the gear position indicator.
• Move the shift lever to the D position to
cancel this mode.
