Deactivating
the passenger's airbag fi x e d . The passenger's airbag
control is set to the
OFF
position.
The passenger's front
airbag is deactivated.
In this case you can
install a "rear facing" child
seat. Set the control to the
ON position to activate the
p a s s e n g e r ' s f r o n t a i r b a g . I n t h i s c a s e , d o n o t fi t a
child seat in the rear-facing position.
Battery
charge fi x e d . The battery charging
circuit has a fault (dirty or
loose terminals, slack or
cut alternator belt, ...). The warning lamp should go off when the engine
is started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer
o r a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Electric power
steering fi x e d . The electric power
steering has a fault. Drive carefully at reduced speed.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or
q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p .
Driver's
seat belt not fastened
(according to version) fl a s h i n g , t h e n
above 9 mph (15 km/h),
accompanied
by an audible signal. The driver has not
fastened their seat belt.
Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the
buckle.
Emission
control
system fi x e d .
The emission control
system has a fault. This lamp should go off when the engine is
started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer or
a q u a l i fi e d w o r k s h o p w i t h o u t d e l a y .

1. Temperature adjustment
Turn the control from blue (cold) to
red (hot) to adjust the temperature to
suit your requirements.

When the ignition is switched on,

a i r w h i c h i s s u f fi c i e n t t o e n s u r e y o u r
comfort.
To maintain a certain level of comfort
in the passenger compartment, avoid
position 0 whenever possible.
In position 0 , a s l i g h t fl o w o f a i r , d u e
to the movement of the vehicle, can
still be felt. The air distribution can be ad-
justed by placing the control
in an intermediate position.
Footwells. 4. Rear screen demisting
With the engine running,
press button 4 , the indica-
tor lamp comes on.
The system demists the
rear screen.
It is switched off by pressing control 4 .
Windscreen, side windows
and footwells. Footwells, diffusion grille
and side vents.

Windscreen and side windows.
Switch the system off as
soon as you consider
this necessary as a lower

air" position to avoid the risks of dete-

screen and side windows. With the engine running,
press button
6 , the indicator
lamp comes on.
The system demists the
rear screen.
It is switched off by pressing button 6
again.
In a humid climate, use of the
air recirculation may cause
misting of the windows. Switch the system off as
soon as you consider
this necessary as a lower
consumption of current re-
duces fuel consumption.
Demisting and defrosting

screen and side windows:
- set the air distribution to "Windscreen and side windows",

the "Air intake" position,
- switch on the air conditioning by pressing button 1 .

ACCESS ELECTRIC WINDOWS
The driver and front passenger each
have an electric window.
After the ignition has been switched
on, press or pull control 1 . The window
stops when you release the control.
Always remove the key from
the ignition when leaving
the vehicle, even for a short
time.
The driver must ensure that the front
passenger uses their electric window
correctly.
Be aware of children when operating
the windows.
DOORS
Driver's door open
If the driver's door is open,
the courtesy lamp remains
on if the button is in this
position.
Locking/unlocking a door
from the inside
Normal locking/unlocking: the
doors lock/unlock independently.
To lock/unlock a door, press/pull
button A .
Central locking/unlocking: the
doors and tailgate are locked/
unlocked simultaneously.
To lock/unlock the vehicle, press/pull
button A on the driver's door.
For the other doors, carry out the
same operation as for normal locking/
unlocking. Child lock
This prevents the opening of either of
the rear doors from the inside.
Push control
1 towards the outside of
the vehicle.
Check the status of this safety device before switching on
the ignition.
This system is independent
of the central locking.
Always remove the key from the ignition
when leaving the vehicle.
Operating the handle does
not unlock the door, pull
button A to unlock.

ACCESS
FUEL TANK
O p e n t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p .
Insert the key, turn it slightly to the
left then return to the right. The
key returns to its initial position
and the cap is unlocked.
Low fuel level
When the low fuel level
is reached, the last bar
fl a s h e s , a c c o m p a n i e d b y
an audible signal.
You have approximately 5 litres
remaining.
In certain driving conditions and
depending on the engine, the
distance which can be travelled with
the fuel remaining may be less than
30 miles (50 km).
W h e n t h e f r e q u e n c y o f t h e fl a s h i n g
increases, you have approximately
3 litres remaining .
Unscrew the cap and hook it onto
the clip located on the inside of
t h e fl a p .

fl a p r e m i n d s y o u w h i c h t y p e o f f u e l
to use.
W h e n y o u fi l l t h e f u e l t a n k , d o
not continue after the 3rd cut-off
of the pump. This could cause
malfunctions.
Remove the key.
If you run out of fuel, the
emission control system
warning lamp may come on
in the instrument panel. It will
go off automatically after the engine
has been started a few times.
T h e f u e l t a n k m u s t b e fi l l e d
with the engine switched
off .
The capacity of the fuel tank is
approximately 35 litres.

the cap back on fully to the right
u n t i l i t c l i c k s a n d c l o s e t h e fl a p .
