Charging your vehicle
This procedure consists of connecting the
vehicle to a special fast charging station.

To optimise the ser vice life of the
main batter y, recharge it completely
ever y 15 days.
For a recharge to be complete
,
follow the procedure for a normal
recharge
(domestic power point)
without interruption, until it switches off
automatically (charging lamp goes off in
the instrument panel).
Before making any connection, check
that the power point you want to use
meets standards and is compatible
with the current rating on the control
unit of the charging cable. In all cases,
it is recommended that you first have
your installation checked by a qualified
electrician.
Ensure that the charging station and its
cable are compatible with your vehicle.
You must always use a genuine
CITROËN charging cable.
Do not use an electrical
extension lead, multi-way
connector, adaptor or timer.

comes on. The vehicle is ready to move off and
you can press the accelerator. The illumination period corresponds to the powering-
up of the vehicle.
Parking brake
On fixed. The parking brake is applied or not
properly released. Release the parking brake to switch off the warning
lamp, keeping your foot on the brake pedal.
Obser ve the safety recommendations.

Main batter y
charge (normal

On fixed. The main battery is on charge. On completion of the charge, the lamp goes off.
Flashing. The charging cable is connected to
the vehicle but the main battery is not
yet charging. Check the connection of the charging cable.

circuit has a fault (dir ty or loose
terminals, slack, transformer fault, ...). The warning lamp should go off when the motor is
started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer or
qualified workshop.
Electric power

On fixed. The electric power steering has a
fault. Drive carefully at reduced speed.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
