Power Foldaway Mirrors
To fold the mirrors:
1. Press (C) to fold the mirrors outto the driving position.
2. Press (D) to fold the mirrors in to the folded position.
See Power Mirrors on page 2‑19.
Interior Mirror
The automatic dimming rearview
mirror reduces the glare of lights
from behind the vehicle. The
dimming feature comes on and the
indicator light illuminates each time
the vehicle is started.
O:Press to turn the dimming
feature on or off.

information.
Steering Wheel
Adjustment
The power tilt wheel control is
located on the left side of the
steering column.
Push the control up or down to tilt
the steering wheel up or down.
To set the memory position, see
“Memory Features” inPower Seat
Adjustment on page 3‑3.
Throttle and Brake Pedal
Adjustment
The vehicle has adjustable throttle
and brake pedals that allow you to
change their positions.
The switch used to adjust the
pedals is located on the center
console below the climate control
system.
Press the right and left arrows to
move the pedals either closer or
further from your body.

Park Tilt Mirrors
If the vehicle has the memory
package, the passenger and/or
driver mirror tilts to a preselected
position when the vehicle is in
R (Reverse). This feature lets the
driver view the curb when parallel
parking. The mirror(s) return to the
original position when the vehicle
is shifted out of R (Reverse), or
the ignition is turned off or to
OFF/LOCK.
Turn this feature on or off through
the Driver Information Center (DIC).

Automatic Dimming
Rearview Mirror
Automatic dimming reduces the
glare of lights from behind the
vehicle. The dimming feature comes
on and the indicator light illuminates
each time the vehicle is started.
O(On/Off):Press to turn the
dimming feature on or off.
The vehicle may have IntelliBeam
®.

Cleaning the Mirror
Do not spray glass cleaner directly
on the mirror. Use a soft towel
dampened with water.

6-8 Lighting
Fog Lamps
For vehicles with fog lamps, they
can be used for better vision in
foggy or misty conditions. The
parking lamps and/or low-beam
headlamps must be on for the fog
lamps to work.
The fog lamp button is located on
the left side of the instrument panel.
#(Fog Lamps):Press to turn the
fog lamps on or off. An indicator
light comes on in the instrument
panel cluster to show that the fog
lamps are on.
Remember, fog lamps alone will
not give off as much light as the
headlamps. Never use the fog
lamps in the dark without turning on
the headlamps.
The fog lamps will go off whenever
the high-beam headlamps come on.
When the high beams go off, the fog
lamps will come on again. The fog lamps will be cancelled
after the ignition is turned off. To use
the fog lamps after restarting the
vehicle, press the fog lamp button
again.
Some localities have laws that
require the headlamps to be on
along with the fog lamps.
Exterior Cargo Lamps
The cargo lamp can be used if more
light is needed in the cargo area of
the vehicle or in the top-box storage
units. Some vehicles will only have
a cargo lamp in the driver side
top box.
The cargo lamps come on by
turning on the interior dome lamps.

Brightness): This feature controls
the brightness of the instrument
panel lights and is located next to
the exterior lamps control.
Push the knob to extend out and
then it can be turned.
