Main switch
Functions of the respective switch positions are as
follows:

All electrical circuits are supplied with power.TIPTIPThe helmet/seat belt indicator light comes on and

can be removed in this position.TIPIf the key is turned to the “” (off) position when

On-Command differential gear lock indicator
light “DIFF. LOCK”
This indicator light comes on with the On-Com-
mand drive indicator “” in the display when the
vehicle is in the “DIFF LOCK” drive mode.
When the On-Command drive knob is turned to
“DIFF LOCK”, the On-Command differential gear
lock indicator light flashes together with the drive
indicator “” until the front differential gear is
locked. (See pages 4-9–4-11, 4-39 and 6-17–
6-19.)
The electrical circuit of the indicator light can be
checked by turning the key to “” (on). If the indi-
cator light does not come on initially when the key
is turned to “” (on), or if the indicator light re-
mains on, have a Yamaha dealer check the electri-
cal circuit.

Témoin de blocage du différentiel “DIFF. LOCK”
Ce témoin s’allume et l’indicateur de mode de conduite
“” s’affiche à l’écran quand le véhicule est en mode
de conduite “DIFF LOCK”.
Lorsque le bouton de commande de mode de conduite est
à la position “DIFF LOCK”, le témoin de commande de
blocage du différentiel et l’indicateur de conduite “”
clignotent jusqu’à ce que le différentiel avant soit bloqué.
(Voir pages 4-10– 4-12, 4-40 et 6-20– 6-22.)
Contrôler le bon fonctionnement du circuit électrique du
témoin en tournant la clé sur “” (contact). Si le témoin
ne s’allume pas lorsque la clé est tournée sur “” (con-
tact), ou s’il ne s’éteint pas, faire contrôler le circuit élec-
trique par un concessionnaire Yamaha.

Testigo de bloqueo del diferencial On-Command
“DIFF. LOCK”
El testigo se enciende con el indicador de la tracción
On-Command “” en la pantalla cuando está blo-
queado el diferencial “DIFF LOCK”.
Cuando se gira el mando de la tracción On-Com-
mand a la posición “DIFF LOCK”, el testigo de blo-
queo del diferencial On-Command parpadea junto
con el indicador de tracción “” hasta que se blo-
quea el diferencial delantero. (Ver páginas 4-10–
4-12, 4-40 y 6-23–6-25.)
El circuito eléctrico del testigo se puede comprobar
girando la llave a “” (contacto). Si la testigo no se
enciende inicialmente al girar la llave a “” (contac-
to) o permanece encendida, haga revisar el circuito
eléctrico en un concesionario Yamaha.
