Interior lights list
Your Toyota is equipped with an illuminated entry system to assist in
entering the vehicle. Due to the fu nction of the system, the lights
shown in the following illustration automatically turn on/off accord-
ing to the presence of the electr onic key, whether the doors are
locked/unlocked, whether the door s are opened/closed, and the
“POWER” switch mode.

The illuminated entry system is
activated even if the light is
turned off when the personal/
interior light main switch is in door
position.
Type BOn/off
The illuminated entry system is
activated even if the light is
turned off when the personal/
interior light main switch is in door
position.
Interior light

The interior lights are turned on/
off by the illuminated entry sys-
tem. When the personal/interior
light main switch is in the “OFF”
position, the lights will not turn on
even if the door is opened with
the interior light switch in door
position.

■To prevent 12 volt battery discharge
If the interior lights and personal lights on when the door is not fully closed or
the interior light switch in door position, the lights will go off automatically
after 20 minutes.
■ Customization that can be co nfigured at Toyota dealer
Setting (e.g. The time elapsed before lights turn off) can be changed.
