Light bulbs
You may replace the following bulbs yourself. The difficulty level of
replacement varies depending on the bulb. If necessary bulb
replacement seems difficult to perform, contact your Toyota dealer.
For more information about replacing other light bulbs, contact your
Toyota dealer.
■ Prepare a replacement light bulb.
Check the wattage of the light bulb being replaced. ( P. 567)

For the right side only: 
Remove the bolt and unclip the
engine coolant reservoir hose.
Then lift up the air cleaner inlet
duct.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.

For the right side only: Remove the bolt and unclip the engine
coolant reservoir hose. Then lift up the air cleaner inlet duct.

Turn the bulb base counterclockwise.

Unplug the connector while
pushing the lock release.

bolt and clip and pull down the
engine under cover.
Unplug the connector while
pushing the lock release.

License plate lights
Open the back door and remove
the cover.
To protect the cover, place a rag
between the flathead screwdriver
and cover as shown in the illus-
tration.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Remove the light bulb.
■ Lights other than the above
If any of the lights listed below has burnt out, have your Toyota
dealer replace it.
●Headlight low beams (LED type)
● Stop/tail lights
● High mounted stoplight
