Interior features
Test the operation of HomeLink by pressing the newly pro-
grammed button. Check to see if the gate/device operates
correctly.
Repeat the steps above to program another device for each of
the remaining HomeLink
 buttons.
■ Programming other devices
To program other devices such as home security systems, home
door locks or lighting, contact your authorized Toyota dealer for
assistance.
■ Reprogramming a button
The individual HomeLink
 buttons cannot be erased but can be
reprogrammed. To reprogram a bu tton, follow the “Programming”
instructions.
Operating HomeLink
Press the appropriate HomeLink button. The HomeLink indicator
light on the HomeLink transceiver should turn on.
HomeLink continues to send a signal for up to 20 seconds as long as the
button is pressed.
Erasing the entire HomeLink memory (all three programs)
Press and hold down the 2 out-
side buttons for 20 seconds until
the indicator light flashes.
If you sell your vehicle, be sure to
erase the programs stored in the
HomeLink
 memory.

Light bulbs
You may replace the following bulbs yourself. The difficulty level of
replacement varies depending on the bulb. If necessary bulb
replacement seems difficult to perfor m, contact your Toyota dealer.
For more information about replacing other light bulbs, contact your
Toyota dealer.
■ Prepare a replacement light bulb.
Check the wattage of the light bulb being replaced. ( P. 494)
■ Remove the engine compartment cover. (3.5 L V6 [2GR-FE]

Turn the bulb bases counter-
clockwise.
Remove the light bulb.

Emergency flashers
NOTICE
■To prevent battery discharge
Do not leave the emergency flashers on longer than necessary when the
engine is not running.
Use the emergency flashers if th e vehicle malfunctions or is
involved in an accident.
Press the switch to flash all
the turn signal lights. To turn
them off, press the switch
once again.
