Changing the remote control

T h e i n f o r m a t i o n " b a t t e r y fl a t " i s g i v e n
b y a n a u d i b l e s i g n a l , a c c o m p a n i e d b y
a message on the multifunction display.
T o r e p l a c e t h e b a t t e r y , u n c l i p t h e
casing using a coin at the ring.
If the remote control does not work
a f t e r t h e b a t t e r y h a s b e e n c h a n g e d ,

Do not discard the remote control

are harmful to the environment.
Take them to a PEUGEOT dealer, or to
any other approved collection point. Wait at least one minute
b e f o r e u s i n g t h e r e m o t e
control.
Insert the key in the ignition

(padlocks) of the remote control
facing you.
Switch on the ignition.
Press the locking padlock for at
l e a s t fi v e s e c o n d s w i t h i n t h e n e x t
ten seconds.
Switch off the ignition.
W a i t a t l e a s t o n e m i n u t e b e f o r e u s i n g
the remote control.
The remote control is now working
again.

DOORS
Automatic central locking
The doors can lock automatically when
you are driving (at a speed of more
than 6 mph (10 km/h)).
You can activate or deactivate this
function. To deactivate

and hold the padlock.

If the vehicle is locked or
deadlocked from the outside, the
r e d w a r n i n g l i g h t fl a s h e s a n d t h e
padlock does not function. In this case,
use the key or the remote control to
unlock from the outside.
The door opening switches do
not function when the vehicle is
deadlocked. Locking/Unlocking from
the inside
Press the padlock, the red
warning light comes on when
the vehicle is locked and switches off
when it is unlocked.
This locks/unlocks the doors and the
tailgate.
To activate
With the ignition on, press
and hold the padlock.
Activation of the function is

If a door or the tailgate is not closed
properly:

the service warning light comes on.

Simultaneous locking or
unlocking of the tailgate and the
doors

The tailgate locks automatically

unlocks when one of the front doors is
opened.
TAILGATE
"Tailgate open" warning
When the engine is running or the

i f t h e t a i l g a t e i s n o t c l o s e d c o r r e c t l y b y
a diagram on the display, accompanied

unlocked in the event of a central
locking fault.
