FAMILIARISATION
Automatic air conditioning
This automatic air conditioning system
g u a r a n t e e s c o m f o r t a n d a s u f fi c i e n t
circulation of air in the passenger com-
partment.
4 or 6 speed automatic gearbox
This equipment permits driving in auto-
adaptive mode enhanced by a selection

Cruise control/speed limiter

any action on the accelerator pedal.
The speed limiter system prevents the
vehicle from exceeding the programmed
speed.

Fuel warning lamp
In certain driving conditions and de-
pending on the engine, the distance
which you will be able to travel with
the remaining fuel may be less than
30 miles (50 kilometres) (the capacity
of the tank is approximately 67 litres).
Emission control system
warning lamp
This should switch off a few seconds
after the engine is switched on.
When the engine is running, if the
w a r n i n g l a m p fl a s h e s o r c o m e s o n
continuously, this indicates an emis-
sion control system malfunction.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon
as possible. Diesel engine pre-heat
warning lamp
Wait for the warning lamp to switch off
before starting. The illumination period
is determined by the ambient conditions.
Passenger's airbag
deactivated warning lamp *
If the warning lamp remains on, this
indicates that the passenger's airbag
has been deactivated intentionally.
If it comes on continuously above 6 mph
(10 km/h), it indicates an ABS fault.
However, the vehicle retains conven-
tional servo-assisted braking.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
Anti-lock braking system
(ABS) warning lamp

The warning lamp is repea-
ted on the instrument panel
screen.
When the needle is in zone
A , the
temperature is correct.
When the needle is in zone B , the
temperature is too high.
If the coolant temperature warning
lamp comes on (linked with the STOP
warning lamp), stop as soon as it is
safe to do so.
Wait for the engine to cool down be-
fore topping up the level, if necessary.
As the cooling circuit is pressurised, in
order to prevent any risk of scalding,
unscrew the cap by two turns to allow
the pressure to drop.
When the pressure has dropped, re-
move the cap and top up the level, if
necessary.

This menu permits selection of the
units: temperature (°C or °F) and fuel

This menu permits restoring of the factory
c o n fi g u r a t i o n , d i s p l a y o f t h e s o f t w a r e v e r -
