Diesel additive level (Diesel
with particle emission filter)
The minimum level of this additive is indica-
ted by lighting of the service warning lamp,
accompanied by an audible signal and a
message on the multifunction screen.
Topping up
This additive must be topped up by a
PEUGEOT dealer without delay.
Used products
CHECKS CHECKS
Battery Check the electrolyte level
regularly. If necessary, top up
the level with distilled water.
Check that the terminals are
clean and correctly tightened,
particularly in summer and winter.
When carrying out work on the battery,
refer to the "Practical information" sec-
tion for details of the precautions to be
taken before disconnecting the battery
and following its reconnection.
Air filter and passenger
compartment filter
Refer to the servicing booklet
for details of the replacement
intervals for these compo-
nents.
Depending on the environ-
ment (dusty atmosphere...) and the use
of the vehicle (city driving...), replace
them twice as often if necessary (refer
to the "Engines" paragraph).
A c l o g g e d p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t fi l -
ter may have an adverse effect on the
performance of the air conditioning sys-
tem and generate undesirable odours. Oil filter
R e p l a c e t h e o i l fi l t e r e a c h t i m e
the engine oil is changed.

for details of the replacement
interval for this component.
Particle emission filter (Diesel)
M a i n t e n a n c e o f t h e p a r t i c l e e m i s s i o n fi l -
ter must be carried out by a PEUGEOT
dealer.
Following prolonged operation
of the vehicle at very low speed
or at idle, you may, exception-
ally, notice the emission of water
vapour at the exhaust on accel-
eration. This does not have any
adverse effect on the perform-
ance of the vehicle or on the
environment.
Avoid any prolonged contact of
u s e d o i l o r fl u i d s w i t h t h e s k i n .
M o s t o f t h e s e fl u i d s a r e h a r m f u l t o
health or indeed very corrosive.
D o n o t d i s c a r d u s e d o i l o r fl u i d s
into sewers or onto the ground.
Empty used oil into the contain-
ers provided for this purpose in
the PEUGEOT network (France)
or take them to an authorised
waste disposal site.
D o n o t d i s c a r d t h e o i l fi l t e r t h r o u g h p u b -
lic channels, deposit it in the containers
dedicated to this use in the PEUGEOT
network (France) or take them to an au-
thorised waste disposal site.
Unless otherwise indicated, check
these components in accordance with
the servicing booklet and in relation to
your engine.
Otherwise, have them checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer.

Support the cover and tilt it down-

Access to the fuses
Open the bonnet (refer to the "Access" section),
Press on the hook A to release the catch,
Remove the cover completely,
Change the fuse (refer to the corresponding paragraph).

Choose the size of the DVD picture for:
E1 - normal 4/3,
E2 - extends the picture evenly to the right and
to the left in wide screen mode,
E3 - extends the right and left parts only leav-
ing the centre as it stands in wide screen
mode,
E4 - enlarges the picture in 4/3 format. The top
and the bottom are outside the frame.
D - Choose the base settings of the system for:
D1 - setting of the time by the RDS signal, time zone, summer time,
D2 - the language (English, Français, Deutsch, Nederlands, Portuguese,
Español, Svenska, Italiano, Dansk),
D3 - the units for calculation of the dis- tances (km or miles and °C or °F),
D4 - other settings such as:
- the voice guidance volume,
- the type of voice guidance voice (female or male),
- the volume of the operation b l e e p s ( 1 t o 3 a n d 0 = n o b l e e p ) ,
- the type of inputting keypad (alphabet or PC),
- the range of menu colours (red or blue),
- the displaying or not of the audio playing icons on the map screen,
- the reinitialisation of the vehicle sensor,
- the interruption or not of the dis- play when the air conditioning is
used.
