taken before disconnecting the battery

Air filter
Refer to the Warranty and
Maintenance Record for de-
tails of the replacement inter-
vals for these components.
Depending on the environment
(e.g. dusty atmosphere) and the use of
the vehicle (e.g. city driving), replace
them twice as often if necessary (re-
fer to the "Engines" paragraph). Particle emission filter (Diesel)
It is imperative that the maintenance of

this component. Following prolonged opera-
tion of the vehicle at very low
speed or at idle, you may, in
exceptional circumstances, notice the

haust on acceleration. This does not
affect the behaviour of the vehicle or
the environment.
Topping up
This additive must be topped up by a
PEUGEOT dealer without delay.
Dust filter/Anti-odour filter
(activated carbon)

traps certain dust and limits odours in
the ventilation and air conditioning.

Record for its replacement interval.

Remove the chromed bolt cover
from each of the bolts using the
tool 3 ( a c c o r d i n g t o e q u i p m e n t ) .
F i t t h e s e c u r i t y s o c k e t 5 on the
wheelbrace 1 to slacken the security
b o l t .
Slacken the other bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 o n l y .
Place the jack 2 in contact with one
of the two front A or rear B locations
p r o v i d e d o n t h e u n d e r b o d y , w h i c h -
ever is closest to the wheel to be
c h a n g e d .
E x t e n d t h e j a c k 2 until its base plate
i s i n c o n t a c t w i t h t h e g r o u n d . E n s u r e
that the centreline of the jack base
plate is directly below the location A
or B u s e d .
