Your vehicle has been approved in
accordance with the new ISOFIX
regulation.
T h e r e a r s e a t s a r e fi t t e d w i t h r e g u l a t i o n
ISOFIX mountings.
These are three rings for each seat:
- t w o l o w e r r i n g s A , l o c a t e d
between the vehicle's seat back
a n d c u s h i o n ,
- a n u p p e r r i n g B , r e f e r r e d t o a s
t h e T O P T E T H E R , l o c a t e d a t
the rear of the seat back at the
bottom. The
ISOFIX child seats a r e fi t t e d
with two latches and/or a strap which
a r e s e c u r e d e a s i l y o n t h e s e r i n g s ,
indicated by labels or a mark on the
rear seat back panel.

Raise the control and slide the seat
forwards or backwards.

Position the seat belt along the door
pillar.
Push control A rearwards to fold
the seat back and move the seat
forwards.
To put the seat back in place, push
the seat back until the seat locks.
Reset the forwards-backwards
adjustment of the seat and the seat
back angle.
No person or object must
prevent the seat from returning
to the required position.

airbag is deactivated. Otherwise, the

t o i n fl a t e .
PEUGEOT recommends that children
should travel in the rear seats of your
vehicle:
- " r e a r w a r d s - f a c i n g " up to the
age of 2,
- " f o r w a r d s - f a c i n g " over the
age of 2. " F o r w a r d s - f a c i n g "
When a "forwards-facing" child seat
is installed on the
front passenger
seat , adjust the vehicle's seat to the
intermediate longitudinal position
with the seat back upright and leave
the passenger airbag activated.

ADVICE ON CHILD SEATS
The incorrect installation of a
child seat in a vehicle compromises
the child's protection in the event of
an accident.
Remember to fasten the seat belts or
the child seat harness k e e p i n g t h e
s l a c k in relation to the child's body to
a minimum , even for short journeys.
To install a child seat using the
vehicle's seat belt, ensure that the
belt is well tightened on the child seat
a n d t h a t i t h o l d s t h e c h i l d s e a t fi r m l y
against the vehicle's seat.
For optimum installation of the
"forward facing" child seat, ensure
that the back of the child seat is in
contact with the back of the vehicle's
seat and that the head restraint does
not cause any discomfort.
If the head restraint has to be
removed, ensure that it is stored or
attached securely to prevent it from
being thrown around the vehicle in
the event of sharp braking. Children under the age of 10 must not
travel in the "forward facing" position
on the front passenger seat, unless
the rear seats are already occupied
by other children, cannot be used or
are absent.
Deactivate the passenger airbag *
when a "rear facing" child seat is
installed on the front seat.
Otherwise, the child would risk being
seriously injured or killed if the airbag
w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
As a safety precaution, do not leave:
- one or more children alone and
unsupervised in a vehicle,
- a child or an animal in a vehicle which is exposed to the sun, with
the windows closed,
- the keys within reach of children inside the vehicle.
To protect young children from the
r a y s o f t h e s u n , fi t s i d e b l i n d s o n t h e
rear windows.
I n s t a l l i n g a b o o s t e r s e a t
The chest part of the seat belt must
be positioned on the child's shoulder
without touching the neck.
Ensure that the lap part of the seat
belt passes correctly over the child's
thighs.
PEUGEOT recommends the use of a
b o o s t e r s e a t w h i c h h a s a b a c k , fi t t e d
with a seat belt guide at shoulder
level.
