SPEEDOMETER AND ODOMETER
Speedometer
The speedometer indicates the vehicle speed.
Odometer/Twin trip odometer
The odometer/twin trip odometer is displayed
when the ignition switch is placed in the ON
position.
The odometer
s1records the total distance the
vehicle has been driven.
The twin trip odometer
s2records the distance
of individual trips.Changing the display

Resetting the trip odometer:

second to reset the currently displayed trip
odometer to zero.
Elapsed time, driving distance and average
speed information is also available. Refer to

NOTE:
You can turn on or turn off the driving
speed dependent intermittent wiper func-
tion for vehicles with navigation system.
Refer to “Comfort settings” in the “Monitor,
climate, audio, phone and voice recogni-
tion systems” section.

Push the lever up
s4to have one sweep opera-
tion of the wiper.
Pull the lever toward you
s5to operate the
washer. The wiper will also operate several times.
WARNING
In freezing temperatures the washer solu-
tion may freeze on the windshield and
obscure your vision which may lead to an
accident. Warm the windshield with the
defroster before you wash the windshield.
CAUTION
cDo not operate the washer continu-
ously for more than 30 seconds.
cDo not operate the washer if the reser-
voir tank is empty.
cDo not fill the window washer reservoir
tank with washer fluid concentrates at
full strength. Some methyl alcohol
based washer fluid concentrates may
permanently stain the grille if spilled
while filling the window washer reser-
voir tank.
cPre-mix washer fluid concentrates with
water to the manufacturer’s recom-
mended levels before pouring the fluid
into the window washer reservoir tank.
Do not use the window washer reservoir
tank to mix the washer fluid concen-
trate and water.To defrost the rear window glass and outside
mirrors (if so equipped) , start the engine and
push the rear window defroster switch on. The
rear window defroster indicator light on the
switch comes on. Push the switch again to turn
the defroster off.
The rear window defroster automatically turns off
after approximately 15 minutes.
CAUTION
When cleaning the inner side of the rear
window, be careful not to scratch or dam-
age the rear window defroster.

The climate controlled seat warms up or cools
down the front seat by blowing warm or cool air
from the surface of the seat. The climate control
switch is located on the center console.
The climate controlled seat can be operated as
follows:
1. Start the engine.
2. Turn the control knob to the H (Heat) side or
to the C (Cool) side, as desired. The indica-
tor light on the control knob will illuminate.
3. Adjust the desired amount of air using the
control knob. The climate controlled seat
blower remains on low speed for approxi-mately 60 seconds after turning the switch
on or selecting the desired temperature.
4. When the vehicle’s interior is warmed or
cooled, or before you leave the vehicle, be
sure to turn the control knob to the Off
(center) position
To check the air filter for the climate controlled
seat, contact a NISSAN dealer.
CAUTION
cThe battery could run down if the cli-
mate control seat is operated while the
engine is not running.
cDo not use the climate control seat for
extended periods or when no one is
using the seat.
cDo not put anything on the seat which
insulates heat, such as a blanket, cush-
ion, seat cover, etc. Otherwise, the seat
may become overheated.
cDo not place anything hard or heavy on
the seat or pierce it with a pin or similar
objects. This may result in damage to
the climate controlled seat.
cAny liquid spilled on the seat should be
removed immediately with a dry clothcThe climate controlled seat has an air
filter. Do not operate the climate con-
trolled seat without an air filter. This
may result in damage to the system.
cWhen cleaning the seat, never use
gasoline, benzine, thinner, or any simi-
lar materials.
cIf any malfunctions are found or the
climate controlled seat does not oper-
ate, turn the switch off and have the
system checked by your NISSAN dealer.

To close the sunshade:
cTo fully close the sunshade, push the switch
s2toward the close position until it reaches
the second detent.
cPushing the switch
s2to the first detent will
close the moonroof only.
If the moonroof does not close
Have your NISSAN dealer check and repair the
moonroof.
The rear control cancel switch operates when the
ignition switch is placed in the ACC or ON posi-
tion.
The rear control cancel switch is located on the
left side of the instrument panel.
Pushing the rear control cancel switch to the
CANCELside will deactivate the following
switches in the rear center armrest:
cAutomatic climate control
cAudio
Pushing the rear control cancel switch to theON
side restores the control to the rear center arm-
rest.The rear sun shade operates when the ignition
switch is in the ACC or ON position.
The rear sun shade switch is located on the front
console.
cTo raise the sun shade, push the upper side
of the switch
s1.
cTo lower the sun shade, push the lower side
of the switch
s2.
cThe switch need not be held down.
