Door Locks
■Door lock switches
Locks all the doors
Unlocks all the doors
■Inside lock button
Locks the door
Unlocks the door
The front doors can be opened by pull-
ing the inside handles even if the lock
buttons are in the lock position.
■Rear door child-protector lock
The door cannot be opened from inside the
vehicle when the lock is set.
These locks can be set to prevent chil-
dren from opening the rear doors. Push
down on each rear door switch to lock
both rear doors.
The vehicle can be locked and unlocked using the entry function, wireless remote con-
trol, key or door lock switch.

If the electronic key does not operate properly
■Unlocking and locking the doors

Closes the windows and moon roof (turn

Unlocks the door
Turning the key rearward unlocks the
driver’s door. Turning the key once again

If the engine does not start
Make sure that the correct operating procedures have been followed.
Make sure that the brake pedal is firmly
depressed when attempting to start the
engine. (P.1 4 )
Make sure that the steering lock is released.
To release the steering lock, gently turn the
wheel left or right while pressing the
“ENGINE START STOP” switch. (P.1 2 )
