The center ventilators are located in the middle of the dashboard. The side ven- tilators are located on each side of dashboard. To change the direction ofthe air flow, move the knob in the center of the vent up-and-down and side-to- side.The vents are opened when the vent knob is moved to "
" position. The
vents are closed when the vent knob is moved to "
". Keep these vents clear
of any obstructions.

With the "Fresh" mode selected, air
enters the vehicle from the outside and
is heated or cooled according to the
function selected.
With the "Recirculation" mode selected,
air from within the passenger compart-
ment will be drawn through the heating
system and heated or cooled according to the function selected.
NOTE:
It should be noted that prolonged
operation of the heating system in "recirculation" mode will give rise to
fogging of the windshield and side
windows and the air within the pas-
senger compartment will become stale. In addition, prolonged use of
the air conditioning with the "Recir-
culation" mode selected may result
in the air within the passenger com-

This is used to direct the flow of air. Air
can be directed to the floor, dashboard

G200B02HP-AAT Replacing Accessory Fuse The fuse box for the lights and other electrical accessories will be found lowon the dashboard on the driver's side. Inside the box you will find a list show- ing the circuits protected by each fuse.If any of your car's lights or other electrical accessories stop working, a blown fuse could be the reason. If thefuse has burned out, you will see that the metal strip inside the fuse has burned through. If you suspect a blownfuse, follow this procedure:

CAUTION:
When replacing a fusible link, never use anything but a new fusible link with the same or lower amperagerating. Never use a piece of wire or a higher-rated fusible link. This could result in serious damage andcreate a fire hazard.

A fusible link will melt if the electrical circuits from the battery are ever over- loaded, thus preventing damage to the entire wiring harness. (This could becaused by a short in the system draw- ing too much current.) If this ever happens, have a Hyundai dealer de-termine the cause, repair the system and replace the fusible link. The fusible links are located in a fuse box for easyinspection.

I010A02MC-AAT The vehicle identification number (VIN) is the number used in registering yourcar and in all legal matters pertaining to its ownership, etc. It can be found in four different places on your car (IfInstalled):
1. The number is punched on floor un-
der the front passenger seat. To check the number, remove the cover.
2. The VIN is also on a plate attached to the top of the dashboard. Thenumber on the plate can easily be seen through the windshield fromoutside.
3. The vehicle certification label at-
tached on the driver's side centerpillar gives the vehicle identification number (VIN).
4. On the lower side of the center pillar outer panel.
