o Insert the CD with the label facing upward.
o Insert the CD to start CD playback, during radio operation.
o If you press the CD button while a disc is in the CD deck, the CD player will begin playing even if the radio player is being used.
o The CD player can be used when the ignition switch is in either the “ON” or“ACC” position.
o Push the CD button to start CD playback without pushing power ON-OFF control knob. (Only when a CDis in the deck.)
NOTE :
o Do not stick paper or tape etc., on the label side or the recording side of any discs, as it may cause a malfunction.
o The unit can play a multi-session CD-R (recordable CD) and CD-RW(rewritable CD) that consists ofmore than two sessions. Please refer to the manual of CD-R/CD-RW recorder or CD-R/CD-RWsoftware for more information on finalization process.
o Depending on the recording sta-
tus, some CD-Rs/CD-RWs may notbe played on this unit.
o Playback of MP3 and WMA file
formats are supported. Load toplay time for these formats may be longer due to the compressednature of these discs.
AUX Select Button Listening to the external player con- nected to AUX-IN
o Connect the external player to AUX- IN.
o Press CD/AUX button to turn to AUX-
IN.
o You can enjoy the music played in the external player through the auto mobile speaker. NOTE :
o If the AUX device is not connected,
you cannot switch to AUX-IN mode.
o When the AUX device is discon- nected while in AUX-IN mode, the unit automatically switches its mode to last selected mode (CDmode or RADIO mode).
o The quality of sound may be de-
fected or distorted when the unit'sEQ control and AUX device's EQ control are both enabled (not flat). When you want to use the unit'sEQ control feature, disable the AUX device's EQ control feature, and vice versa.
o When using a portable audio de- vice connected to the power out-let, noise may occur during play-back. If this happens, use the power source of the portable audio de- vice.

pressed, it increases the band fre- quency by 50khz to automatically select channel. Stops at the previous frequency if nochannel is found. 5. Power ON/OFF & Volume
Control Button
Turns on/off the set when the IGNI- TION SWITCH is on ACC or ON. If the button is turned to the right, it increasesthe volume and left, decreases the volume. 6. SCAN Button If this button is pressed, the frequen- cies will become increased and receive the corresponding broadcasts. This function will play the frequenciesfor 10 seconds each and find other broadcasts as the frequency increases. Press the button again when desiring tocontinue listening to the currently play- ing broadcast. 7. AUTO STORE Button
o When you press the [AST] button,
the mode changes to ‘Auto store Band’ and it saves the result. (FA1 or FM2 change to FMA, AM changes to AMA.)
o When the button is pressed, it auto- matically selects and saves chan-nels with high reception rate to PRE-SET buttons [1]~[6] and plays the channel saved in PRESET1. If no channel is saved after AST, itwill play the previous channel.
8. SETUP Button Press this button to turn to the SCROLL, TA VOL, P.BASS, NEWS and RE-GION adjustment mode. If no action is taken for 5 seconds after pressing the button, it will return to theplay mode.(After entering SETUP mode, move between items using the left, right and PUSH functions of the TUNEbutton.) The setup Items changes from SCROLL ↔ AF ↔ TA VOL ↔ P.BASS ↔ NEWS

1. CD Loading Slot Please face printed side upward and gently push in. When the ignition switch is on ACC or ON and power is off, poweris automatically turned on if the CD is loaded. This CDP supports only 12cm CD. If VCD, Data CD, are loaded, "Er-6" message will appear and CD will be ejected. 2. CD Indicator When car ignition switch is ACC or ON and if the CD is loaded, this indicator is lighted. If the CD is ejected the light isturned off. 3. CD Eject Button Push button to eject the CD. This but- ton is enabled when ignition switch isoff. 4. CD Selection Button If there is a CD in the CDP DECK it plays the CD. Press CD button to automatically insert CD when the disc is ejected from thedeck by pressing CD EJECT. 5. AUX Selection Button If AUX function is not supported, when you push the button, no function wil be done. (‘NO MEDIA’ will be displayed)
