 Turn thumb wheel 1 to the "LIMIT"position: the speed limiter mode is selected but is not switched on (PAUSE). You do not have to switch the speed limiter on
in order to set the speed.  Set the speed value by pressing button 2or 3 (e.g.: 55 mph (90 km/h)).
Programming
You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2 and 3 : - by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = shor t press, - by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press, - in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press.  Switch the speed limiter on by pressing button 4 .  Switch the speed limiter off by pressing button 4 : the display confirms that it has been switched off (PAUSE).  Switch the speed limiter back on by pressing button 4 again.
Exceeding the programmed speed
Pressing the accelerator pedal to exceed the programmed speed will not have any effect unless you press the pedal firmly past the mlypoint of resistance . The speed limiter is deactivated temporarily and the programmed speed, which is still displayed, flashes. Returning to the programmed speed, by means of int entional or unintentional deceleration of the vehicle, automatically cancels the flashing of the programmed speed.
On a steep descent or in the event of sharp acceleration, the speed limiter will not be able to prevent the vehicle
from exceeding the programmed speed. To avoid any risk of jamming of the pedals: - ensure that the mat is positioned correctly, - do not fit one mat on top of another.
Leaving limiter mode
 Turn thumb wheel 1 to the "0" position: the speed limiter mode is deselected. The display returns to the distance recorder.
Operating fault
In the event of a speed limiter malfunction, the speed is cleared resulting in flashing of the dashes. Have the system checked by a CITROËN dealer.

Cruise control
System which automatically maintains the speed of the vehicle at the value programmed by the driver, without any action on the accelerator pedal. The cruise control is switched on manually: it requires a minimum vehicle speed of 25 mph (40 km/h), as well as the engagement of: - four th gear on a manual gearbox, - second gear on an automatic gearbox, in sequential mode, - position D on an automatic gearbox. The cruise control is switched off manually d offor by pressing the brake or clutch pedal or on triggering of the ESP system for safety reasons. It is possible to exceed the programmed speed temporarily by pressing the accelerator pedal. To return to the programmed speed, simply release the accelerator pedal. Switching off the ignition cancels any programmed speed value.
The controls of this system are grouped together on stalk A . 1. Cruise control mode selection thumb wheel. 2. Value decrease button. 3. Value increase button. 4. Cruise control off/resume button.
Steering mounted controls
The cruise control cannot, in any circumstances, replace the need to respect speed limits, nor can it replace the need for vigilance and responsibility on the par t of the driver.

accelerating to the required speed, then press button 2 or 3 (e.g.: 70 mph (110 km/h)).
You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2 and 3 : - by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = shor t press, - by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press, - in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press.  Switch off the cruise control by pressing button 4 : the display confirms that it has been switched off (PAUSE).
 Switch the cruise control back on by pressing button 4 again.
Exceeding the programmed speed Intentional or unintentional exceeding of the programmed speed results in flashing of this speed on the display. Return to the programmed speed, by means of intent ional or unintentional deceleration of the vehicle, automatically cancels the flashing of the speed.
Leaving cruise control mode

Operating fault

When the cruise control is switched on, be careful if you maintain the pressure on one of the programmed speed changing buttons: this may result in a very rapid change in the speed of your vehicle. Do not use the cruise control on slippery roads or in heavy traffic. On a steep descent, the cruise control will not be able to prevent the vehicle from exceeding the programmed speed. To avoid any risk of jamming of the pedals: - ensure that the mat is positioned correctly, - never fit one mat on top of another.

Load reduction mode System which manages the use of cer tain functions according to the level of charge remaining in the battery. When the vehicle is being driven, the load reduction function temporarily deactivates cer tain functions, such as the air conditioning,
the heated rear screen... The deactivated functions are reactivated automatically as soon as conditions permit.
Do not disconnect the terminals while the engine is running. Do not charge the batteries without disconnecting the terminals first.
Before disconnecting the battery
Wait 2 minutes after switching off the ignition before disconnecting the battery. Close the windows and the doors before disconnecting the battery.
Following reconnection of the battery
Following reconnection of the battery, switch on the ignition and wait 1 minute before star ting to permit initialisation of the electronic systems. However, if minor problems persist following this operation, contact a CITROËN dealer. Referring to the corresponding section,
you should yourself reinitialise: - the remote control key, - the GPS satellite navigation system.

Energy economy mode
System which manages the period of use of cer tain fu nctions to conser ve a sufficient level of charge in the battery. After the engine has stopped, you can still use func tions such as the audio equipment, windscreen wipers, dipped beam headlamps, cour tesy lamps, etc. for a maximum combined period of thir ty mi nutes.
This period may be greatly reduced if the battery is not fully charged.
A flat battery prevents the engine from star ting (refer to the corresponding paragraph).
If the telephone is being used at the same time on the MyWay audio navigation system, it will be interrupted after 10 minutes.
Switching to economy mode
Once this period has elapsed, a message
appears on the multifunction screen indicating that the vehicle has switched to economy mode and the active functions are put on standby.
Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated automatically
the next time the vehicle is driven.  In order to resume the use of these functions immediately, star t the engine and let it run for a few minutes. The time available to you will then be double the period for which the engine is left running. However, this period will always be between five and thir ty minutes.
