Adopt a smooth driving
style

The electrical consumption of your vehicle
depends greatly on your journey, your driving style and your speed.
In all cases, adopt a smooth driving style.
Sta
y in the "Eco" zoneindicated in the energy consumption/generation meter: depress the
accelerator pedal progressively, without sudden movement, and if the conditions permit, drive at
steady and moderate speed.
Recover energy
Anticipating the driving conditions allows you torecover energy and increase the range of your
vehicle.
Use the "Charge" zoneof the energyconsumption/generation meter whenever possible: anticipate the traffic slowing
down and if the the conditions permit, use
deceleration rather than the brakes.


Control the use of your
electrical equipment

The heating and air conditioning systems operate on energy from the main battery.
Excessive use of these systems greatlyreduces the range of your vehicle. Remember
to switch them off once the desired level of comfor t is reached and check their settings every time you set off.
Control also the use of demisting/defrostingand the heated seat.


Limit the causes of excess
consumption
As with any vehicle, limit the loads carried
in the vehicle and reduce wind resistance (windows open above 30 mph (50 km/h),
roof bars, roof box, …).


Observe the recommendations
on maintenance

Check the tyre pressures regularly andfollow the schedule for routine ser vicing
recommended by CITROËN.

The warning lamp comes on for a few seconds when the ignition is switchedon (ON position). If it does not go off or does not come on, contact a CITROËNdealer or a qualified workshop. I
f this warning lamp comes oncontinuously it indicates a malfunction of the wheel anti-lock braking system
which could result in a loss of controlof the vehicle on braking.
You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualifiedworkshop.
When the vehicle is moving
Illumination of these twowarning lamps indicates a
malfunction of the electronic brake force distributionwhich could result in a loss of control of
the vehicle on braking.
You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualifiedworkshop.
When replacing wheels (tyres and rims),
ensure that they conform to the manufacturer's recommendations.
The illumination o
f this warning lampit indicates a malfunction of the wheelanti-lock braking system, which could result in a loss of control of thevehicle when braking.

Emergency braking assistance
System which, in an emergency, enables you
to obtain the optimum braking pressure more quickly, thus reducing the stopping distance.
Activation
It is triggered by the speed at which the brake pedal is pressed.
The effect of this is a reduction in theresistance of the pedal and an increase in
braking efficiency.
When braking in an emergency, press firmly without releasing the pressure.

Composition of the kit
2.Sealant car tridge for the temporary repair
of a tyre.3.Injection pipe. 4.Suction pipe, to remove the sealant product
if necessary.
5.Sachet containing a replacement valve core, a tool for removing/refitting the valve core and a speed restriction sticker.

The speed restriction sticker must beaffixed to the vehicle's steering wheel toremind you that a wheel is in temporary use.

Do not exceed a speed of 50 mph(80 km/h) when driving with a tyre repaired using this type of kit.


Refi tting the rear seat cushion
)Put the metal cover back into place. )Refit the four "butterfly" screws.)Insert the metal hooks into the seat backrest. )Fold the seat cushion down until it locks
in place.

When refitting the cushion, take care not to trap the seat belt buckles.

is in
the "OFF" position. )Uncoil the compressor pipe B.

Connect this pipe to the valve of the
repaired wheel. )
Connect the compressor's electric plug to
the vehicle's 12 V socket (ignition switch in
position "ON" or "ACC"). ) Star t the compressor by turning the
switch A
to the "ON" position. )
Using the compressor, adjust the pressure in accordance with the vehicle's tyre
pressure label (located in the driver's door
aperture).
A loss of pressure indicates that the
puncture has not been fully plugged;contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop for assistance.
) Remove the compressor and stow the kit. )
Drive off straight away at reduced speed (50 mph [80 km/h] max) limiting thedistance travelled to approximately
120 miles (200 km).


As soon as possible, go to a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop. Tell the technician that you have used the kit. After checking, the technicianwill advise you whether the tyre can berepaired or must be replaced.


If after around 5 to 7 minutes the pressure is not attained, this indicates that the tyre is not repairable; contacta CITROËN dealer or a qualifiedworkshop for assistance.

A. Ser vice - Replacement Par ts
identification plate.
This plate is riveted to the underside ofthe bonnet.
Tyre pressures must be checkedwhen the tyres are cold, at least oncea month.

Low tyre pressures increase the
electrical power consumption of your vehicle, which reduces its range. B. Tyre identification label
.This label is affixed to the driver's centre pillar.
It bears the
following information:
- the tyre pressures (in bars),
- the tyre specification,
- the type of tyre.C. Manufacturer's
plate This plate is riveted to the left hand centre pillar.
D. Vehicle identification number (VIN).
This number is is engraved on the inner wheel
arch, inside the boot, right hand side.
For information on fitting snow chains, contact a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.
It bears in par ticular the
