Portable Audio Devices
This vehicle may have an auxilliary input, located on theaudio faceplate and a USB port located in the centerconsole. External devices such as iPod®, laptopcomputers, MP3 players, CD changers, USB storagedevice, etc. can be connected to the auxiliary port usinga 3.5 mm (1/8 in.) input jack or the USB port dependingon the audio system.

Steering Wheel Controls
Audio steering wheelcontrol functions coulddiffer depending onthe vehicle's options.Some audio controlscan be adjusted at thesteering wheel.
w/x:Press to change favorite radio stations,select tracks on a CD/DVD, or to navigate tracks orfolders on an iPod®or USB device.
bg:Press to silence the vehicle speakers only. Pressagain to turn the sound on. Press and holdlonger than two seconds to interact with OnStar®orBluetooth systems.
+e!e:Increases or decreases volume.
c:Press to reject an incoming call, or to end a call.
SRCE :Press to switch between the radio, CD, and forvehicles with, DVD, front auxiliary, and rear auxiliary.
¨:Press to seek the next radio station, the next trackor chapter while sourced to the CD or DVD slot, or toselect tracks and folders on an iPod®or USB device.

Heated Steering Wheel
For vehicles with a heated steering wheel, the buttonfor this feature is located on the steering wheel.
(:Press to turn the heated steering wheel on or off.A light on the button displays when the feature isturned on.
The steering wheel takes about three minutes to startheating.
Turn Signal/Multifunction Lever
The lever on the left side of the steering columnincludes the following:

Turn and Lane-Change Signals
An arrow on theinstrument panel clusterflashes in the direction ofthe turn or lane change.
Move the lever all the way up or down to signal a turn.
Raise or lower the lever for less than one seconduntil the arrow starts to flash to signal a lane change.This causes the turn signals to automatically flashthree times. It will flash six times if tow-haul mode isactive. Holding the turn signal lever for more thanone second will cause the turn signals to flash untilyou release the lever.
The lever returns to its starting position whenever it isreleased.
If after signaling a turn or a lane change the arrowsflash rapidly or do not come on, a signal bulb could beburned out.
Have the bulbs replaced. If the bulb is not burned out,check the fuse. SeeFuses and Circuit Breakersonpage 7!108.
Turn Signal On Chime
If the turn signal is left on for more than 3/4 of a mile(1.2 km), a chime will sound at each flash of the turnsignal and the message TURN SIGNAL ON will alsoappear in the Driver Information Control (DIC). To turnthe chime and message off, move the turn signal leverto the off position.
Headlamp High/Low-Beam Changer
53(Headlamp High/Low Beam Changer) :To changethe headlamps from low to high beam, push the levertoward the instrument panel. To return to low-beamheadlamps, pull the multifunction lever toward you.Then release it.
When the high beams areon, this indicator light onthe instrument panelcluster will also be on.

.The headlamp stalk is moved forward to thehigh-beam position. SeeHeadlamp High/Low-Beam Changero n p a g e 4!5.
When either of these conditions occur, theIntelliBeam®feature will be disabled and theIntelliBeam®light in the mirror will turn off until thehigh-beam stalk is returned to the neutral position.
.If IntelliBeam®was using low-beams prior to thisaction, the IntelliBeam®feature will be temporarilydisabled until the stalk is returned to the neutralposition.
.The exterior lamp control is turned to any settingexcept AUTO.
When this occurs, IntelliBeam®will be disableduntil the control is turned back to the AUTOposition.
.The IntelliBeam®system is turned off at the insiderearview mirror.
IntelliBeam®may not turn off the high-beams if thesystem cannot detect other vehicle's lamps because ofany of the following:
.The others vehicle's lamp(s) are missing,damaged, obstructed from view or otherwiseundetected.
.The other vehicle's lamp(s) are covered with dirt,snow and/or road spray.
.The other vehicle's lamp(s) cannot be detecteddue to dense exhaust, smoke, fog, snow, roadspray, mist or other airborne obstructions.
.Your vehicle's windshield is dirty, cracked orobstructed by something that blocks the view ofthe IntelliBeam light sensor.
.Your vehicle's windshield is covered with ice, dirt,haze or other obstructions.
.Your vehicle is loaded such that the front end ofthe vehicle points upward, causing the IntelliBeamsensor to aim high and not detect headlamps andtaillamps.
.You are driving on winding or hilly roads.
You may need to manually disable or cancel thehigh-beam headlamps by turning the low-beamheadlamps on, if any of the above conditions exist.

Highbeam On Light
This light comes on whenthe high-beam headlampsare in use.

Tow/Haul Mode Light
For vehicles with the tow/haul mode feature, thislight comes on when theTow/Haul mode has beenactivated.

Fuel Gage
When the ignition is on,the fuel gage shows abouthow much fuel the vehiclehas left in the tank.
An arrow on the fuel gage indicates the side of thevehicle the fuel door is on.
The gage will first indicate empty before the vehicle isout of fuel, but the vehicle's fuel tank should befilled soon.

PROG (Program) :Press this button to go to the nextpreset radio station or channel set on the main radio.This function is inactive, with some radios, if the frontseat passengers are listening to the radio.
When a CD or DVD audio disc is playing, press thisbutton to go to the beginning of the CD or DVD audio.This function is inactive, with some radios, if the frontseat passengers are listening to the disc.
When a disc is playing in the CD or DVD changer, pressthis button to select the next disc, if multiple discs areloaded. This function is inactive, with some radios, if thefront seat passengers are listening to the disc.
When a DVD video menu is being displayed, press thePROG button to perform the menu function, enter.
Theft-Deterrent Feature
THEFTLOCK®is designed to discourage theft of thevehicle's radio by learning a portion of the VehicleIdentification Number (VIN). The radio does not operateif it is stolen or moved to a different vehicle.
Audio Steering Wheel Controls
Vehicles with audiosteering wheel controlscould differ depending onthe vehicle's options.Some audio controls canbe adjusted at thesteering wheel.
