Vehicle positions
Maximum height
Changing a wheel (not possible if
speed > 6mph (10km/h)).
Intermediate position
For increased ground clearance (not
possible if speed > 25 mph (40 km/h)).

velling at reduced speed, as well as
on car park ramps.
Position changes may only be
made when the engine is running.
The adjustable ground clearance
meets all types of situation. Apart
f r o m a f e w s p e c i fi c s i t u a t i o n s , t h e
vehicle should be in the Normal po-
sition.
Press once on one of the adjust-
ment controls.
The change in position is indicated
by a message on the instrument
panel screen.
Normal position
If the speed authorised for a particu-
l a r p o s i t i o n i s e x c e e d e d , t h e v e h i c l e
reverts automatically to the normal
position.
Minimum height
To facilitate loading or unloading the
vehicle.
For workshop inspections.
Not to be used in normal driving (not
possible if speed > 6mph (10km/h)).

Position not authorised
The instrument panel screen tempo-
rarily displays a message indicating
that this position is not authorised.
The vehicle remains in the autho-
rised position and the instrument
panel screen indicates this position
to you.
Automatic variation of ground clea-
rance
- I f y o u r s p e e d e x c e e d s 7 0 m p h ( a p p r o x . 1 1 0 k m / h ) , o n a g o o d
road surface, ground clearance
is lowered. The vehicle returns
to its normal position if the road
surface deteriorates or if your
speed is lower than 55 mph (ap-
p r o x . 9 0 k m / h ) .
- At low or medium speed, if the road surface is poor, ground
clearance is increased. The ve-
hicle returns to its normal posi-
tion as soon as conditions allow.
- On switching off the ignition, the ground clearance is reduced to
the parking position
For your safety if you are operat-
ing underneath the vehicle, you
must support the vehicle with
axle stands.
