inside of the driver door frame; you will also be reminded by the service
interval counter on the instrument panel, and the service records in this docu-
ment.

you require any work done on your vehicle.•SEAT regularly communicates to its Authorised Service Centres new
product developments. They have tools and highly specialized personnel
who can guarantee the safety and performance of your vehicle.•Scrupulously following the General Programme for Inspection Services in
Authorised SEAT Service Centres will ensure you maintain greater value for
your vehicle.Maintenance intervalsThe SEAT maintenance programme requires that your vehicle undergoes an
inspection every 15,000 km (10,000 miles) or once a year.
Depending on your style of driving, the maintenance programme will depend
on the mileage of the vehicle or on the time since the date of purchase.
For those vehicles covering more than 15,000 km (10,000 miles) / year, the
maintenance will be performed according to the mileage (see the example on
table 1). For those vehicles covering less than 15,000 km (10,000 miles) /year, the
maintenance will be programmed according to the time (see the example on
table 2).

Example of maintenance according to time
However, there are different specific “additional jobs” depending on the
distance covered or the time passed since delivery. For example:•Timing belt change (depending on the mileage).•Change of brake fluid (for the first time after 3 years or 200,000 km

1)If diesel with a high sulphur content is used, the fuel filter and the oil should be
changed every 7,500 km (5,000 miles). Your Authorised Service Centre will be able to
tell you which countries have diesel with a high sulphur content.
