Fitting a wheel
Put the tool holder back in position.
T h i s h e l p s t o k e e p t h e b o o t fl o o r i n i t s
correct position, to prevent any defor-
m a t i o n o f t h e fl o o r w h e n l o a d e d .
Tighten the spare wheel securing
strap to prevent noise and for your
safety in the event of impact. After changing the wheel:
- have the tightening of the bolts and
the tyre pressure checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer as soon as pos-
sible,
- have the punctured wheel repaired a n d r e fi t i t t o t h e v e h i c l e a s s o o n a s
possible,
- the steel spare wheel must only be used for a very short time.
Position the wheel using the cen-
tralising tool 2 to assist you.
Tighten the bolts by hand and re-
move the centralising tool.
Partly tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace 1 .
Fold the jack 4 and remove it.
Fully tighten the bolts using the
wheelbrace.
Replace the wheel trim.
For the alloy trims, position the re-

These wheels have a pressure sensor.
Have them repaired by a PEUGEOT
dealer.

Bolt covers
Alloy wheel bolts are covered by chrome
trims.
Use the yellow tool 7 to remove the
trims before slackening the bolts.

w h e e l , w h e n fi t t i n g i t , i t i s
normal to no-
tice when tightening the bolts that the
washers do not come into contact with
the rim. The spare wheel is secured by
the cone-shape of each bolt. I f y o u r w h e e l s a r e fi t t e d w i t h a n a n t i - t h e f t
bolt (one per wheel), the chrome trim
must be removed using the yellow tool,
before unscrewing the bolt using the
anti-theft socket and the wheel brace.
Note: the anti-theft socket
was given to you on delivery
of your vehicle along with the
d u p l i c a t e k e y s a n d t h e c o n fi -
dential card.
Make a careful note of the code
number engraved on the head of the
anti-theft socket. This will enable you
to obtain a duplicate socket from a
PEUGEOT dealer.

CHANGING A BULB
2 - Main beam headlamps: H1-55 W.
Turn the protective cover of the
faulty bulb a quarter of a turn and
remove it.
Disconnect the connector.
Press the end of the securing clip
to free it. Change the bulb.

that the direction notches are po-
sitioned correctly and the securing
c l i p i s fi x e d p r o p e r l y .
Reconnect the connector.
R e fi t t h e p r o t e c t i v e c o v e r . 3 - S i d e l i g h t s : W 5 W .
Pull the socket rearwards.
Remove the bulb and change it.
Front foglamps: H1-55 W.
Handle the bulbs with a dry
cloth.
T h e h e a d l a m p s a r e fi t t e d w i t h
polycarbonate glass with a
protective coating. Do not clean them
with a dry or abrasive cloth, nor with a
detergent or solvent product.
Use a soft, damp cloth with soapy water.
In the engine compartment, remove
the style cover secured by one or two
b u t t e r fl y s c r e w s , a p l a s t i c r e t a i n e r c l i p
and two quarter turn screws.
On the left-hand side, remove the par-
tition by lifting it to gain access to the
lights.

to put everything back correctly.

TROCUTION
Xenon bulbs must be replaced

Turn the bulb holder a quarter turn

Remove the bulb and change it.

When using this type of washing on
stubborn dirt, do not persist on the
headlamps, the lights and their sur-
rounds to avoid damaging their var-
nish and their seal.
In certain climatic conditions
(low temperature, humidity),
condensation on the inside
surface of the glass of the
headlamps and rear lights is normal;
it disappears a few minutes after the
lights are switched on.

Remove the eyelet.
Take out the lamp.
Unclip the bulb holder.
Change the faulty bulb.
Clip the bulb holder.

Detach the luggage net.
Lift the boot carpet with the lifting
hook. Secure this hook behind the
boot seal.
Unclip the lower part of the sill trim,
then dislodge it by pulling upwards.
Remove the plastic retainer clip

Unclip the side trim.
Push the repeater forwards and re-
lease it.
Remove the repeater and change it.

Remove the three plastic retainer
clips securing the cover trim (those
nearest to the lamp).
Move aside the trim.
Disconnect the lamp harness.
Extract the lamp from its housing.

Unclip the bulb holder.
Change the faulty bulb.
Clip the bulb holder.
P u t t h e fl a t s e a l b a c k i n p l a c e .
W h e n r e fi t t i n g i t , e n s u r e t h a t t h e l a m p
is correctly positioned and secured.

Remove the transparent cover using
a screwdriver blade.
Change the faulty bulb.
