The key cannot be removed from
the lock until the cap is put back on
the tank.
Opening the cap may trigger an air
intake noise. This vacuum, which is
perfectly normal, is caused by the
sealing of the fuel system.
FUEL TANK
Capacity of the tank: approximately
60 litres. T o fi l l t h e t a n k s a f e l y :
it is essential that the engine is
switched off,
o p e n t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p ,
insert the key in the cap, then turn it
to the left,
W h e n fi l l i n g i s c o m p l e t e :
r e fi t t h e c a p ,
turn the key to the right, then remove
it from the cap,
c l o s e t h e fl a p .
remove the cap and secure it on the
hook, located on the inside of the
fl a p ,
fi l l t h e t a n k , b u t do not continue
after the 3rd cut-off of the nozzle ;
this could cause malfunctions.
Low fuel level
Filling
A l a b e l a f fi x e d t o t h e i n s i d e o f t h e fl a p
reminds you of the type of fuel to be
used according to your engine.
More than 5 litres of fuel must be ad-
ded in order to be registered by the fuel
gauge.
Operating fault
A fuel gauge malfunction is indicated by
the return of the fuel gauge needle to
zero.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
When the fuel tank minimum
level is reached, this warning
lamp comes on on the instru-
ment panel, accompanied by
an audible signal and a message on
t h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n s c r e e n . W h e n i t fi r s t
comes on, you have approximately
6 litres of fuel remaining.
Fill up as soon as possible to avoid
running out of fuel.
