Diesel engine pre-heating fi x e d . The ignition switch is at ON.
Wait until the warning light has switched off before starting.
The duration for which the warning lights is displayed is determined by the climatic conditions.
Electronic parking brake fi x e d . The electronic brake is applied.
Release the electronic brake to switch off the warning light: with your foot on the brake pedal, pull the electronic brake control.
Observe the safety recommendations.

Deactivation of the automatic functions of the electronic parking brake
fi x e d .
The "automatic application" (on switching off the engine) and "automatic release" functions are deactivated or faulty.
Activate the function via the vehicle c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u o r c o n t a c t a P E U G E O T dealer.
Foot on brake
fi x e d . The brake pedal must be pressed.
Press the brake pedal to start the engine with the 6-speed piloted manual gearbox (lever in position P) or automatic gearbox (lever in position N).
If you wish to release the parking brake without pressing the brake pedal, this warning light will remain on.

In the case of a piloted manual gearbox, if you hold the vehicle for too long on a gradient using the accelerator, the clutch overheats.

Heated seats control
With the engine running, the front seats
can be heated separately.
Use the adjustment dial, placed on
the side of each front seat, to switch
on and select the level of heating re-
quired:
0
: Off.
1
: Low.
2
: Medium.
3
: High.

To raise the head restraint, pull it for-
wards and upwards at the same time.
To remove the head restraint, press
the lug A and pull the head restraint
upwards.
To put the head restraint back in
place, engage the head restraint
stems in the openings keeping them
in line with the seat back.
To lower the head restraint, press
the lug A and the head restraint at
the same time.
To adjust the angle of the head re-
straint, tilt its lower part forwards or
rearwards. T h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t i s fi t t e d w i t h
a frame with notches which
prevents it from lowering; this
is a safety device in case of
impact.
