Folding the seat (Saloon)
To fold a rear seat without any risk of
damage to it, always start with the
seat cushion, never the seat back
:
move the corresponding front seat
forward if necessary,
raise the front of the seat cushion 1 ,
tilt the seat cushion 1 against the front seat,
check that the seat belt is positioned correctly on the side of the seat back,
Repositioning the seat (Saloon)
When repositioning the rear seat:
straighten the seat back 3 and
secure it,
fold back the seat cushion 1 .
pull control 2 upwards to release the seat back 3 ,
place the head restraints in the low position or remove them if necessary,
tilt the seat back 3 .
The seat cushion 1 can be removed
to increase the loading volume.

To avoid any risk of jamming of the
pedals:
- only use mats which are suited t o t h e fi x i n g s a l r e a d y p r e s e n t i n
the vehicle; it is imperative that
these are used.
MAT
Removable component which protects the carpet against exterior dirt.
Refitting
T o r e fi t t h e m a t o n t h e d r i v e r ' s s i d e :
position the mat correctly,
r e fi t t h e fi x i n g s b y p r e s s i n g ,
check that the mat is secured correctly. Fitting
W h e n fi t t i n g t h e m a t f o r t h e fi r s t t i m e , u s e o n l y t h e fi x i n g s p r o v i d e d i n t h e wallet attached.
Removal
To remove the mat on the driver's side:
move the seat as far back as possible,
u n c l i p t h e fi x i n g s ,
r e m o v e t h e fi x i n g s , t h e n t h e m a t .
USB PLUG - READER
This connection box, consisting of a
JACK socket and a USB port, is located
on the centre console.
It permits the connection of portable
equipment, such as a digital audio play-
er of the iPod ®
or USB stick type.
I t r e a d s t h e a u d i o fi l e f o r m a t s ( m p 3 ,
ogg, wma, wav...) which are transmitted
to your audio equipment and played via
the vehicle's speakers.
Y o u c a n m a n a g e t h e s e fi l e s u s i n g t h e
steering wheel controls or the audio
equipment control panel and display
them on the multifunction screen.
When it is in use, the portable equip-
ment charges automatically.

Hooks
Rear shelf (Saloon)
To remove the shelf:
unhook the two cords,
raise the shelf slightly, then remove it. The hooks permit the securing of shop-
ping bags.
When changing a wheel
The hooks permit easy access to
the spare wheel by retaining the
boot carpet by means of its cord.
You have two storage options:
either upright behind the front seats,
- or upright behind the rear seats.

Deactivating the rear window
switches
Reinitialisation
Following reconnection of the battery or
in the event of a malfunction you must
reinitialise the operation of the electric
windows:
release the switch and pull it again
until the window closes completely,
hold the switch for approximately
one second after closing, Always remove the key from the
ignition when leaving the vehicle,
even for a short time.
In the event of contact during
operation of the windows, you
must reverse the movement of the
window. To do this, press the switch
concerned.
When the driver operates the pas-
senger electric window switches,
they must ensure that no one is
preventing correct closing of the
windows.
The driver must ensure that the
passengers use the electric win-
dows correctly. REAR QUARTER WINDOWS
On the 3-door versions, system for ventilation of the rear seats limiting the partial opening of the window.
Opening
For the safety of your children, press
switch 5 to prevent operation of the
rear windows irrespective of their
position.
When the button is pressed down, the
rear window switches are deactived.
When the button is raised, the rear window
switches are active.
Closing
Pull the lever to release the window.
Tilt the lever fully inwards to secure
the window in the closed position.
Tilt the lever outwards.
Push it fully to secure the window in
the open position.
press the switch to lower the window
automatically,
when the window has reached the
low position, press the switch again
for approximately one second.
The safety
anti
-
pinch
function is not
active during these operations.
