Deactivating the rear window
switches
Reinitialisation
Following reconnection of the battery or
in the event of a malfunction you must
reinitialise the operation of the electric
windows:
release the switch and pull it again
until the window closes completely,
hold the switch for approximately
one second after closing, Always remove the key from the
ignition when leaving the vehicle,
even for a short time.
In the event of contact during
operation of the windows, you
must reverse the movement of the
window. To do this, press the switch
concerned.
When the driver operates the pas-
senger electric window switches,
they must ensure that no one is
preventing correct closing of the
windows.
The driver must ensure that the
passengers use the electric win-
dows correctly. REAR QUARTER WINDOWS
On the 3-door versions, system for ventilation of the rear seats limiting the partial opening of the window.
Opening
For the safety of your children, press
switch 5 to prevent operation of the
rear windows irrespective of their
position.
When the button is pressed down, the
rear window switches are deactived.
When the button is raised, the rear window
switches are active.
Closing
Pull the lever to release the window.
Tilt the lever fully inwards to secure
the window in the closed position.
Tilt the lever outwards.
Push it fully to secure the window in
the open position.
press the switch to lower the window
automatically,
when the window has reached the
low position, press the switch again
for approximately one second.
The safety
anti
-
pinch
function is not
active during these operations.

Model with rear foglamps only

C. foglamps selection ring. These operate with the dipped and main beam headlamps.
To switch on the foglamps, turn ring C
forwards.
When the lights are switched off auto- m a t i c a l l y ( o n A U T O m o d e l ) , t h e f o g lamps and the dipped headlamps will remain on.
To switch off all of the lighting turn
ring C rearwards.
To switch on the foglamps, turn ring C
forwards.
To switch off the rear foglamps, turn
ring C rearwards twice in succession.
When the lighting is switched off au-
t o m a t i c a l l y ( o n A U T O m o d e l ) o r w h e n
the dipped headlamps are switched off
manually, the foglamps and the sidela-
mps will remain on.
Turn the ring rearwards to switch
off the foglamps, the sidelamps will
then switch off. In good weather or in rain, both day
and night, the front foglamps and
the rear foglamps are prohibited. In
these situations, the intensity of their
beams may dazzle other drivers.
Do not forget to switch off the front
foglamps and the rear foglamps
when they are no longer necessary.
Lighting on reminder
The triggering of an audible signal
when a front door is opened warns
the driver that they have forgotten
to switch off the vehicle’s lighting,
with the ignition off.
In this case, switching off the light-
ing will stop the audible signal.

In fog or snow, the brightness

Therefore, the lighting will not come
on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, coupled with the rain sensor
and located in the centre of the
windscreen behind the interior mir-
ror; the associated functions would
no longer be controlled.
Coupling with the "Guide-me-home"
lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "guide-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- selection of the lighting duration to
15, 30 or 60 seconds in the vehi-
cle parameters on the multifunction
s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ,
- automatic activation of "guide-me- home" lighting when automatic lighting
is in operation.
Automatic lighting
The sidelamps and dipped beam head-
lamps are switched on automatically,
without any action on the part of the
driver, when a low level of external light
is detected (sensor behind the interior
m i r r o r ) o r w h e n t h e w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r s
are switched on.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lighting is
switched off automatically.
"Guide-me-home" lighting
porarily, after switching off the vehicle's ignition, to make the driver's exit easier in poor light.
Activation
With the ignition off, activate a
" h e a d l a m p fl a s h " u s i n g s t a l k B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s the function off again.

The "fguide-me-home" lighting is switched
off automatically following the door lock-
ing command, after a given time. Activation
Turn ring A to the " AUTO " position.
The automatic lighting is accompanied
by a message on the multifunction
screen. Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of

the service warning lamp, an
audible signal and a message on the
multifunction screen.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Daytime running lamps *

This indicator lamp comes on
on the instrument panel.
The instruments and controls (instru-
ment panel, multifunction screen, air

is activated or the lighting is switched
on manually.

Special position of the windscreen wipers Automatic windscreen wiping
The windscreen wipers operate auto-
matically, without any action on the part
of the driver, if rain is detected (sensor
b e h i n d t h e i n t e r i o r m i r r o r ) , a d a p t i n g t h e i r
speed to the intensity of the rainfall.
Activation
This is controlled manually by the driver
by pushing the stalk A to the "AUTO"
position.
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction screen.
the ignition, any action on the stalk posi-tions the wipers in the centre of the windscreen.
This action enables you to position the wiper blades for winter parking.
To park the wipers after this has been done, switch on the ignition and operate the stalk.
Do not cover the rain sensor, cou-
pled with the brightness sensor and
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the interior mirror.
Switch off the ignition when using
an automatic car wash.
In winter, it is advisable to wait until
the windscreen is completely clear
of ice before activating the auto-
matic wiping. The automatic wiping must be re-
activated if the ignition has been off
for more than one minute, by push-
ing the stalk
A downwards.
Switching off
This is controlled manually by the driver
by moving the stalk A to another posi-
tion and returning it to position "0" .
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction screen. Operating fault
If an automatic wiping malfunction oc-
curs, the wipers will operate in intermittent
mode.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.

Permanent lighting.
It switches off gradually:
- when the vehicle is locked,
- when the ignition is switched on,
- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.

Mechanical system to prevent opening of the rear door using its interior control.
The control is located on the edge of each rear door.

A visual warning by means of the direc-tion indicators to alert other road users to a vehicle breakdown, towing or accident.

Press the button A , the direction in-

They can operate with the ignition off.
Automatic lighting of hazard
warning lamps
When braking in an emergency, de-
pending on the deceleration, the hazard
warning lamps come on.
They will switch off automatically the
fi r s t t i m e y o u a c c e l e r a t e .
If they do not, press button A to
switch the direction indicators off. HORN
Press one of the spokes of the steering wheel.

destrian,
Audible warning to alert other road users to an imminent danger.
