"SETUP" menu
Press the "SETUP" button to gain
access to the "SETUP" menu. This
allows you to select from the following
functions:
- "Languages",
- "Date and time",
- "Display",
- "Vehicle parameters",
- "Units",
- "System parameters".
Languages
This menu allows you to select the lan-
guage used by the display: Deutsch,
English, Espanol, Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Polski, Portugues, Türkçe * .
* According to country.
Date and time
This menu allows you to set the date
and time, the format of the date and the
format of the time (refer to the "Audio
a n d T e l e m a t i c s " s e c t i o n o r t o t h e s p e c i fi c
user guide given to you with the other
owner's documents). Display
This menu allows you to set the bright-
ness of the screen, the screen colour
scheme and the colour of the map (day/
night or auto mode).
Vehicle parameters
This menu allows you to activate or
deactivate certain driving and comfort
equipment:
- wiper linked with reverse gear (refer
to the "Visibility" section),
- follow-me-home lighting and dura- tion (refer to the "Visibility" section),
- directional headlamps (refer to the "Visibility" section).
Units
This menu allows you to select the
units: temperature (°C or °F) and con-
sumption (km/l, l/100 or mpg).
System parameters
This menu allows you to restore the fac-
t o r y c o n fi g u r a t i o n , d i s p l a y t h e s o f t w a r e
version and activate the scrolling text. For safety reasons, it is imperative
t h a t c o n fi g u r a t i o n o f t h e m u l t i f u n c -
tion displays by the driver is car-
ried out when stationary.

LIGHTING CONTROLS
System for selection and control of the various front and rear lights providing the vehicle's lighting.
Manual controls
The lighting commands are made di-rectly by the driver by means of ring A and lever B .
lights off,
side lights only,
dipped or main beam head-lamps,
B. lever for inversion of the lights by pulling: dipped headlamps/main beam headlamps.
In the lights off and side lights modes, the driver can switch on the main beam h e a d l a m p s d i r e c t l y ( " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " ) for as long as he pulls the lever.
Displays
The corresponding indicator light comes on o n t h e i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l t o c o n fi r m t h e s e -lective switching on of the lighting selected.
Main lighting
The vehicle's various front and rear lights are designed to adapt the driver's visibility gradually in relation to the climatic conditions:
- side lights, to be seen,
- dipped headlamps to see without dazzling other drivers,
-main beam headlamps for good visibility when the road is clear.
Additional lighting
Other lights are installed to respond to particular driving conditions:
- rear fog lamps to be seen from a distance,
- front fog lamps for even bettervisibility,
- directional headlamps for improved visibility around bends.
Programmes
Various automatic lighting control modes are also available according to the fol-lowing options:
- "follow-me-home" lighting,
- automatic lighting,
- static directional lighting.

Model with rear fog lamps only

C. fog lamps selection ring.
These operate with the dipped and main beam headlamps.
To switch on the fog lamps, turn push ring C forwards.
When the lights are switched off auto- m a t i c a l l y ( o n A U T O m o d e l ) , t h e f o g lamps and the dipped headlamps will remain on.
To switch off all of the lights, turn push ring C rearwards.
To switch on the fog lamps, turn push ring C forwards.
To switch off the rear fog lamps, turn push ring C rearwards twice in suc-cession.
When the lights are switched off auto- m a t i c a l l y ( o n A U T O m o d e l ) o r w h e n the dipped headlamps are switched off manually, the fog lamps and the side lights will remain on.
Turn the ring rearwards to switch off the fog lamps, the side lights will then switch off.

Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, coupled with the rain sensor
and located in the centre of the
windscreen behind the interior mir-
ror; the associated functions would
no longer be controlled.
Coupling with the "Follow-me-
home" lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "follow-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- selection of the duration of main-
taining of the lighting for 15, 30 or
60 seconds in the vehicle param-
eters on the multifunction display
c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ,
- automatic activation of "follow-me- home" lighting when automatic light-
ing is in operation.

The side lights and dipped headlamps
are switched on automatically, without
any action on the part of the driver,
when a low level of external light is de-
tected (sensor behind the interior mir-
r o r ) o r w h e n t h e w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r s a r e
switched on.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lights are
switched off automatically.
"Follow-me-home" lighting
porarily, after switching off the vehicle's ignition, to make the driver's exit easier in poor light.
Activation
With the ignition off, activate a " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " u s i n g l e v e r B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s the function off again.
Switching off
The "follow-me-home" lighting is switched off automatically following the door locking command, after a given time.

Turn ring A to the " AUTO
" position.
The automatic lighting is accompa-
nied by a message on the multifunc-
tion display. Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of
the brightness sensor, the lights
come on accompanied by the
service warning light, an audi-
ble signal and a message on the multi-
function display.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Daytime lights *
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d a y t i m e l i g h t s , the dipped headlamps come on when the vehicle is started.
This indicator light comes on on the instrument panel.
The instruments and controls (instru-ment panel, multifunction display, air c o n d i t i o n i n g c o n t r o l p a n e l , . . . ) a r e n o t lit, unless the automatic switching on of the lights mode is activated or the lights are switched on manually.

STATIC DIRECTIONAL
LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam head-lamps are on, this function enables the beam to light the inside of the turn with an additional angle of approximately 30°.
The use of this lighting is optimum above all at low and average speed (city driving, w i n d i n g r o a d s , . . . ) .
with directional lighting
Programming
Switching on
The system is switched on from a certain speed and a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
Operating fault
The function is activated or deactivated via the multi- f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a -tion menu.
By default, this function is activated.
In the event of a malfunction, t h i s w a r n i n g l i g h t fl a s h e s o n t h e instrument panel, accompanied by a message on the multifunc-tion display.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Switching off
The system is switched off below a certain angle of rotation of the steering wheel.
It is switched off when reverse gear is engaged.
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
To avoid causing a nuisance to other road users, the height of the headlamps should be adjusted in relation to the load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.

Reverse gear
When reverse gear is engaged, if the
windscreen wipers are operating, the
rear wiper will start.
Programming
Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-wards you. The windscreen wash then the windscreen wipers operate f o r a fi x e d p e r i o d .
The headlamp wash is also activated, if the dipped headlamps are on .
Rear wiper
In the presence of snow or con-
siderable frost and when using a
tailgate bicycle carrier, deactivate
the automatic rear wiper via the
m u l t i f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n
menu. The function is activated or
switched off via the multi-
f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.
By default, this function is
activated.
