As the installation of a mobile two-way radio system in your vehicle could affect

tem and seat belt pretensioner system, be sure to check with your Lexus dealer for
precautionary measures or special instructions regarding installation.

Opening the fuel tank cap
Perform the following steps to open the fuel tank cap.
■Before refueling the vehicle
Turn the “ENGINE START STOP” switch OFF and ensure that all
the doors and windows are closed.
■ Opening the fuel tank cap
Open the fuel filler door.
Turn the fuel tank cap slowly to
open.
Hang the fuel tank cap on the
back of the fuel filler door.

Closing the fuel tank capWhen replacing the fuel tank cap,
turn it until a clicking sound is
heard.
After releasing your hand, the cap
will turn slightly to the opposite
direction.
■Fuel types
Use unleaded gasoline. (Octane rating 91 [Research Octane Number 96] or
higher)
■Fuel tank capacity
Approximately 18.5 gal. (70 L, 15.4 Imp. gal.)
■When the fuel filler door opener is inoperableThe lever can be used to open the fuel filler
door if the fuel filler door cannot be opened
using the inside switch because the battery is
discharged or for any other reason.
