Exhausted oil
(Multijet versions with DPF,
where provided)
The warning light turns on and flashes
along with the message on the display
when the system detects that the engine
oil is exhausted.
After the first indication, at each engine
start-up, the warning light continues to
flash for about 60 seconds and then every
2 hours until the oil is changed.SEAT BELTS
NOT FASTENED
(red)
The warning light in the panel
turns on steadily when the vehicle is not
running and the seat belt on the driver’s
side is not correctly fastened. The warn-
ing light blinks, and a buzzer goes off, when
the vehicle is running and the front seat
belts are not correctly fastened.
The buzzer of the S.B.R. (Seat Belt Re-
minder) system can only be switched off
by a Fiat Dealership.
On some versions the system can be re-
activated from the setup menu.INCOMPLETE
DOOR LOCKING (red)
On certain versions the warning
light turns on when one or more doors or
the tailgate are not properly shut.
On certain versions the dedicated mes-
sage is displayed.
MINIMUM
ENGINE OIL LEVEL
(red)
Turning the ignition key to MARthe
warning light on the panel turns on, but
it should go off after a few seconds.
The warning light goes on in the panel
when the oil level drops below the mini-
mum value. Top up the oil to the correct
level (see “Level checking” in section
“Maintenance and care”).
On certain versions the dedicated mes-
sage is displayed.

ing circumstances.
Engine oil pressure sensor failure
The warning light turns on when a failure
is detected by the engine oil pressure sen-
sor.
Go to a Fiat Dealership to have the fault
fixed as soon as possible.
External light failure

Fuel cut-off switch tripped
The warning light comes on when the in-
ertial fuel cut-off switch is triggered.
The display will show the dedicated mes-
sage.
Parking sensor failure
(where provided)

The warning light on the dial
turns on if the front brake pads are worn;
in this case have them changed as soon
as possible.
On certain versions the dedicated mes-
sage is displayed.

EXTERNAL LIGHTS
FAILURE
(amber)
The warning light comes on (on some ver-
sions only) when a failure is detected in
one of the following lights:
– side/taillights
– stop lights
– rear fog lights
– direction indicators
– plate lights.
The fault identified in the lights above may
be due to: one or more burnt lamps, a
blown protection fuse or interruption of
the electrical connection.
On certain versions warning light èturns
on as an alternative.
On certain versions the dedicated mes-
sage is displayed.
