The SETTINGSmenu gives you the fol-
lowing choices:
❒Register a mobile phone
❒Manage user data
❒Advanced options.
To operate within the Settingsmenu
when the car is stationary, you can use
either the steering wheel controls or voi-
ce commands. When the car is moving,
you can use only voice commands. In-
structions for both methods follow.
IF YOU HAVE SOME DIFFICULTIES
USING THE BLUE&ME™ settings func-
tions, see the TROUBLESHOOTING
section.REGISTERING A MOBILE PHONE
In order to use your mobile phone with
the vehicle's hands-free function, it must
be registered.
During the registration process, the
hands-free system searches for a phone
with Bluetooth
®technology in its re-
ception range. If it finds one, it establish-
es a connection with it by using a Person-
al Identification Number (PIN). After you
have registered your mobile phone on the
system, you can use it with the hands-free
system.
IMPORTANT The PIN code used for reg-
istering a mobile phone is produced ran-
domly by the system each time a new
phone is registered, therefore you do not
need to remember it. If you lose it, you
can still use the hands-free system.
You only need to register your phone
once; after that, Blue&Me™will auto-
matically connect to it every time you get
in the vehicle and turn the ignition key to
MAR.You can register your mobile phone by
choosing REGISTRATIONin the SET-
TINGSmenu.
?
To perform the registration manu-
ally, proceed as follows:
Activate the Main Menu by pressing
ß/MENUand select SETTINGS
by pressing SRC/OKor
ß/MENU.
Select REGISTRATIONand then
press SRC/OKor
ß/MENU. The
system begins the registration
process.
The system displays the PIN code
necessary for registering the mobile
phone on the instrument panel and
repeats it out loud. It is important
to know that this PIN is only used
for registering the mobile phone; it
is not your SIM card PIN.
For the next two stages, consult your
mobile phone manual on how to reg-
ister and connect with Bluetooth
®
devices.

These operations do not compro-
mise the sound quality or usability of
iPod tracks.What I can do
❒Listen to tracks in digital quality
❒Select tracks (by artist, album, genre,
etc.) through voice control or by us-
ing the steering wheel controls

ing played (song title, singer, etc.) on the
instrument panel.
❒Recharge the iPod through the USB
port.
What I cannot do
❒Play audio tracks from iPod devices not
configurable as external disks or
iPhones (without Blue&Me™Media
Player adapter, see Note below).
N.B.
A Blue&Me™ Media Player adapter is
available from Lineaccessori Fiat, allow-
ing you to play music tracks from iPod or

as an external disk.N.B.
USB devices with a password function are
not recommended. If your USB device has
such a function, always check that it has
