NIGHT DRIVINGA fi rst press on the DARK button puts the display on standby. Only the time and the temperature remain displayed.
A second press switches off the display and the instrument panel, except for information concerning:
The speed indicator.The automatic gearbox.Cruise control/Speed limiter if this has been activated.Note:
Temporary lighting of the display for modifi cation of audio-CD adjustments and air conditioning.The display lights up if any of the other buttons on the display is pressed. To revert to night driving, press just once on button DARK.DARKDARKAll the displays come on if there is an alert.A third press returns you to normal lighting.

MAINTENANCE INDICATOR
It informs you when the next routine service is due in accordance with the vehicle servicing schedule in the Maintenance and Warranty Guide. This information is dependent on two parameters: the mileage covered, and the time elapsed since the last visit.
Operation
From switching on the ignition and for a few seconds, the span-ner symbolising maintenance operations lights up; the instru-ment panel tells you the distance remaining to the next service.
Example: there remain up to the next service:
A few seconds after this, the engine oil level indicator is displayed, then the total mileage recorder resumes its normal role. The instrument panel gives the total and trip mileages.
Operation if the distance to the next service is less than 600 miles
Each time you switch on the igni-tion and for 5 seconds, the span-ner and the distance fl ash.
Example: there remain up to the next service: 500 miles. On switch-ing on the ignition and for 5 seconds, the instrument panel indicates:
A few seconds after this, the engine oil level indicator is displayed, then the total mileage recorder resumes its normal role and the mainte-nance symbol remains lit up.
This is a warning to you that a service must be carried out at the earliest opportunity.
The instrument panel gives the total and trip mileages.
Operation if the service interval has been passed
Each time you switch on the igni-tion, the maintenance symbol and the distance covered (preceded by a minus) beyond the recom-mended interval fl ash.
Example: You have exceeded the service interval by 300 miles.
The routine service on your vehi-cle needs to be carried as soon as possible.
A few seconds after switching on the ignition, the total mile-age recorder resumes its normal role and the maintenance symbol remains lit up.

Maintenance intervals
If you use your vehicle in particu-larly diffi cult conditions, it is essen-tial to use the service schedule for "severe conditions" comprising shorter intervals between services. See "Maintenance and Warranty Guide".
Reset to zero
Your CITROËN technician resets the indicator to zero after each service. However, if you do your own servicing, the procedure for resetting to zero is as follows:1. Switch off the ignition.2. Press on button A and keep it pressed.3. Switch on the ignition.4. Keep button A pressed down until the screen indicates "=0"and the maintenance symbol disappears.
Note: If the maximum time between two oil changes is reached before the mileage has been covered, the mainte-nance spanner lights up and the instrument panel indicates "0".
MILEAGE RECORDER
Display
When the driver's door is opened or the vehicle is unlocked with the remote control, for around 30 seconds there is display of the mileage recorders and sometimes the maintenance spanner.
Trip mileage recorder reset
This can operate when the ignition is switched on.
With a long press on the zero reset button A, the trip mileage dis-played resets to zero.
FUEL GAUGE
If the fuel low warning lamp comes on permanently on horizontal ground, accompanied by a sound signal, there remain around 9 l of fuel (petrol version) or 8 l of fuel (diesel version).
When the second-to-last bar dis-appears, you still have approx. 5 lof fuel.
REV COUNTER
When you approach maximum engine speed, crossing into the red zone indicates the need to engage a higher gear.

LOCKING/UNLOCKING FROM THE INSIDE
A press on the control A operates the electric central locking and unlocking, provided all the doors are closed.
It is still possible to open the doors from the inside.
Note: Control A is inactive if the vehicle has been locked using the remote control or the key.
The three statuses for locking/unlock-ing the vehicle are signalled by the warning lamp on the control A:It fl ashes when the vehicle is locked, engine stopped.
It lights up when the ignition is switched on, vehicle locked.It goes out when the vehicle is unlocked.

5. FRONT DEMISTING - DEICING
Press button 5 for rapid clear windows. The warning lamp comes on. This system controls the air condi-tioning, the air fl ow and the entry of air from outside. It sends the ventilation towards the windscreen and side windows.
A press on the 1 button returns you to "AUTO" mode.
6. REAR DEMISTING - DEICING
Press button 6, with the engine running, to start a rapid deicing or demisting of the rear screen and rear view mirrors. The warning lamp comes on.
This mode stops automatically depending on the out-side temperature. It can be paused by pressing again on button 6 or by stopping the engine.
In the latter case, demisting will resume when the engine is switched on again.Note: The heated rear screen operates independently of the automatic air conditioning.
7. AIR RECIRCULATION – ENTRY OF AIR FROM OUTSIDE
Press repeatedly on button 7 to select the air entry mode. The corresponding warning lamp lights up:Air intake in automatic pollution control mode (on by default, with automatic comfort regulation).
The automatic mode makes use of an air quality sen-sor. It analyses the air and isolates the cabin from the exterior if the presence of pollutants is detected. In this case it automatically activates recirculation of the cabin air.
Please note: this function does not detect and there-fore protect the cabin from unpleasant odours. It is not active when the ambient temperature is below +5 °C so as to avoid the risk of misting the vehicle’s windows.
Closing the exterior air intake
Press button 7 to close the intake of air from the exte-rior.
While maintaining the other settings, this position allows the driver to avoid unpleasant odours and smoke out-side the vehicle at any time.
It should be cancelled as soon as possible to allow exchange of the cabin air and to avoid misting of the vehicle’s windows.
Exterior air intake
Press button 7 once to open the exterior air intake.

AUTOMATIC OPERATION
Activation
When you press button A, the automatic mode automatically and simultaneously controls the air fl ow and air distribution for the rear air conditioning.
The warning lamp on button Alights up.
It is recommended to keep both air vents open.
Deactivation
A press on any of the buttons B, Cor D, deactivates the automatic opera-tion of the rear air conditioning.
the warning lamp on button A goes out.
Note: If the air conditioning in the front of the cabin is stopped (func-tion deactivated in the "Air condi-tioning" menu or via the control 4for adjusting the air fl ow), then the rear automatic air conditioning is not available.
ADJUSTING THE AIR FLOW
If you press buttons B or D you increase or decrease the fl ow for the rear air conditioning.
The number of diode(s) lit up, composing the symbol for air fl ow (helix, situated between buttons Band D) expresses its power level.
To deactivate the air fl ow and air distribution for the rear air condi-tioning, press successively on but-ton D so that all the diodes go out.
DISTRIBUTION TO FOOTWELLS/HEADS
Successive presses on button Cwill modify the distribution of the air fl ow.
Three directions are available:Passengers' heads.
Passenger footwells.Passengers' heads and footwells.
The arrow lit up indicates the dis-tribution of air chosen manually. In "AUTO" mode, no arrow lights up.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE FLOW OF AIR INTO THE STORAGE UNDER THE FRONT CENTRALARMREST
If you choose a maximum fl ow of air in the rear by pressing Band distribution towards passen-ger's heads by pressing C, having closed the rear air vents, you will obtain a maximum fl ow of air into the storage beneath the armrest.

Active suspension with piloted damp-ing and fl exibility automatically and instantaneously adjusts the damp-ers to your driving style, as well as to the condition of the road surface, to achieve the maximum comfort for you and your passengers, as well as improved roadholding.
Normal mode: This functioning mode fi lters the unevenness of the road surface with the suppleness of the damping to produce a superlative ride.
Sport mode: a press on button A gives you a suspension that is more adapted to a sporty style of driving. This functioning mode makes the damp-ing fi rmer, for enhanced control of the vehicle body movements.
This symbol is displayed on your instrument panel.
SIGNALLINGIn the standard situation, button A is not lit up by day, it only illuminates at night.
In sport mode, after you press button A, the latter lights up in orange, day or night.
The mode selected is conserved until the ignition is switched off.

LATERAL AMBIANCE LIGHTING
This is in the zone designated by the arrows.
Adjustments
With the vehicle lamps on, press on buttons C or D to change the brightness of the lateral ambiance lighting.
FLOOR LIGHTING
In the front and the rear of the vehi-cle, when a door is opened, this lights up the interior of the vehicle.
Changing the bulb
To change the bulb for the fl oor lighting (front or rear): Detach the cover. Use a W 5 W bulb.
Rear
PAVEMENT LIGHTING
With the door open, this lights up the ground next to the vehicle.
Changing the bulb
To change the bulb for the door sill lighting: Detach the cover. Use a W 5 W bulb.
